WILSON NCAA Evo NXT Official Indoor Game Basketballs - Sizes 6 and 7

A little pricey but great ball. I have three kids in recreational basketball and the home teams have to provide a game ball. Purchased one of these in size 6 over the Wilson Evolution to see what the difference in price would make and ended up getting a size 7 to replace the size 7 Evolution. Great hand feel, solid air retention, great overall. I can’t say the extra $$ are 100% worth it over the Evolution for everybody but in our family it is the most sought after ball and my two kids that use the size 6 get tough with each other to have this and not the Evolution when we are at the gym. I would recommend this ball highly especially when you can find a sale.

I like this ball better than the Evolution! If you’re used to the Evolution, there’s less cushion, slightly more bounce, and much stickier when it starts to get a little wet with sweat throughout the course of a game.

Really nice basketball. Holds its air, nice and tacky but still smooth. Good quality, nice bounce. Honestly, I wouldn’t say spending this much on a basketball was easy, but after seeing how nice this ball is and how long it has lasted, I’ll do it again. Definitely worth it.

Great ball for indoor courts. I got it on sale for a great price. If you play hoops a lot this is the ball you want

This is a great ball. Bright orange = Ugly color though. I’d say it’s neck and neck with the Wilson Evolution - I have two of them as well as a Spaulding TF-1000 Legacy. There are subtle differences. The Evo NXT is slightly lighter (closer to official NBA weight) than the Evolution and has better grip and slightly deeper grooves. It’s not as spongy though. I like the bounce in the Evolution the best (when they are broken in of course, not new!). The EVO is great straight out of the box. It feels nice on day 2, a little slick on day 1. If you’re on a tighter budget, get the Evolution. If you’re a ball collector like me, you need one of these EVO’s just to experience how good they are. FYI, the spongy and heavier nature of the Evolutions make them sit on the rim a bit better, if that makes any sense? The EVO’s feel really great when shooting long distance but they’ll bounce off the rim at a slightly higher rate than the Evolution in my experience. Great ball in any event.

Great basketball! I think it is worth the extra price to get this basketball over the other game ball that is cheaper. Good grip and true bounce. Still breaking it in but great basketball.

Great grip on this ball try not to use outdoors it will wear of easily better for indoors and authentic came in original box great for shooting

Great feeling when playing

Just simply love them. The grip is amazing and it is really what basketball should feel like. My hands are big but not Shaq's size! but still I can hold the ball with 1 hand thanks to the grips. Does not loose air either which is great when you just leave it in your bag for a long time...
