Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia 2017 Classic Shirt-Pocket Edition

Perfect, concise, essential
I am a new grad nurse practitioner in a busy urgent care community health center setting. This pocket book has been essential to patient visits, it gives important drug interactions allergy and price information and is organized very logically so that medications are grouped based on body system and then drug class. It makes everything easy to look up very quickly, which is essential during patient visits. I don't know how I functioned without it.

New & improved
I wouldn't call this "Large" print, only "relatively larger, but still fairly small print". However, I can read it without cheaters, which I can't do with the standard micro-print edition. It seems to contain the same useful content, including "banana bag" & "magic mouthwash"! It's twice as thick as the standard edition, but still fits in my coat pocket easily. Overall, I definitely prefer this new design.

Not disappointed
The last pharmacopoeia I had was from medical school from 2002 so I figured it was time to upgrade. Just like last time this did not disappoint. Easy concise way to find all the meds I need. Great tables for derm and gyn. I just copied my notes from the last one and am ready to go!

Tried and true
Some of my colleagues make fun of me for consulting a BOOK for info but I've relied on the Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia for years and it's never let me down. Small, fits in my lab coat pocket. Format makes it easy to find the info I need fast.

Perfect.
Highly recommended. I was with a nurse practitioner during clinical and she used this. Extremely easy to navigate. Has dosages for both adults and peds, and the drug class. Fits easily in my scrubs. Awesome little book.

Recommended!!
Great for retail pharmacists, when the provided drug info library offered by your management, does not offer all the brand/generic names for drugs. I use this mainly for birth control and all their many different names. Very handy and always in my white coat.
