Review: Might help you to read this. - I had a lot of trouble getting the firmware to go in with the used ones I purchased. In short, what I ended up doing was downgrading the base which brought all the phones together to flash an older firmware. Then I upgraded the base to the newest version. With all phones connected to the base I setup the ftp server. Inserted the settings for the phones to pick up the older version. Downgraded the base and on it's restart the phones took the older firmware. Then updating the config to the new version while the base was upgrading to the newest version. Once the base booted up all the phones grabbed the new update and I disconnected the ftp server. Life is good. Review: good stuff - These were exactly what I was hoping for. They're working great for my software-based PBX. The features are limited compared to some corded models; but they're a huge improvement over analog cordless phones. Call quality is good, as is speakerphone functionality. So you can use just about any headset that fits that jack. But really, the simplest option is to use the belt clip to carry the phone around, and just connect a simple wired headset to the phone. If you really prefer a cordless headset, and you're using an Open type service like voiSip or NebulaPBX, that supports 3rd party apps and phones, you could use a Yealink desktop phone along with the Bluetooth dongle. That lets you use several types of bluetooth headsets. Or you could use a softphone app and a cordless headset. I have the Jabra Pro 930. It connects to your PC via USB and has DECT wireless, so range is about 50 meters indoors and 300 outdoors. Really nice headsets. **Q: How do you turn the volume down on it?** A: The left and right arrows around the OK button. When in a call works the volume for the earpiece; when in standby works the volume for the ringer. **Q: Does this phone work with a Frontier internet connection?** A: Your internet connection doesn't really matter, you will need a host that supports Yealink phones though. **Q: Will this work with my ooma w60p system?** A: I use it with a W60 base, so it should work. But I use it with voiSip service, who doesn't lock the phones. Range is meeting my needs so far. ### ⭐ 0/10 - Do Not Recommend *by F***C on June 19, 2026* Bought the Yealink W60B base which came with a W56H handset. Bought another W56H to use as a second handset. It took nearly 4 weeks to get the second handset to work. Contacted Yealink customer support on day 20. They finally contacted us after 12 days - 9 days AFTER we finally got the handset to work. The call quality is awful with frequent inability to hear the caller, forcing them to call back. The phones are super delicate - I dropped mine into my lap and it slid to the floor. When it hit the floor, the front and back of the phone seperated.
