it says washable pad - how does it remove to wash?

Let's define the pad as having two parts: 1) the pad that warms, and 2), the detachable electrical outlet cord with power knob. Detach the electrical cord with knob from the pad, and you are left with the pad. You will wash the pad. Now, outside of the definition of the pad, the pad itself includes heating elements enclosed by fleece fabric. You will be washing the fleece & the heating elements, but you will *not* be washing any *electrical cords*.

Anyone else request it be sent in a Amazon box but it came in original box instead ??

Clarification: If you request Amazon packaging, the item remains in its original box or packaging and then that package is put into an Amazon box or package for shipping so that no one can tell what's in it when its sitting on your front porch. Great if you have nosey neighbors.

I reviewed this product and can’t recommend it. Barely gets warm on the highest setting.
