Must need for med school physiology studies!
Wonderful study tool to add to your medical school studies. These questions push you to recognize the items that you don’t know that you don’t know. Some questions are miss keyed (maybe three in the 6 chapters I’ve done so far) but the answers explain the reasoning so well that you can figure out the correct choice.

If you are like me and you need to know if you are ...
Got here quick! If you are like me and you need to know if you are thinking about concepts clearly, this book will do that! wouldn't call it board prep but it definitely introduces you to the wide range of things you should know regarding the topic!

Going through the questions gives you a good feel for how well you know the material
Going through the questions gives you a good feel for how well you know the material. However there are quite a few typos and errors especially in the explanations section. Often times it will list the incorrect answer as a correct one. But overall good resource for a quick review and assessment of strengths and weaknesses.

Great for Med School studying.
I study by doing questions, the more the better. Course not all questions were completely applicable, but learned from all of them. Very well written questions and explanations.

Excellent
A little more polished than the previous editions (this the 2013/14 edition). They apparently read the comments. lol If you're a Med student and facing exams this is a great way to test your preparedness. It covers it all.

5 stars!
Really good practice. Some of the pretest books aren't that great but this one is the best physiology question bank out there.

Lots of typos
This book has mostly decent (and a few excellent) problems, but the typos are so prevalent that I spend too much time trying to figure out why I'm wrong, when it turns out that I'm correct. Most often, the wrong answer choice is indicated at the end of the chapter. Question 482 is a great example of a serious typo (Graves' disease is an example of hyperthyroidism, not hypothyroidism). However, these typos are not in the 12th edition even for the same questions, so someone screwed up at the publishing company.
