Tough lightweight foldable backpack
Got this bag a year or two ago. For a lightweight backpack, it's surprisingly durable.I highly recommend it if you want a foldable backpack that you can carry around. I've socked away groceries and books in this backpack and it's still holding up.

Does the job
I'm a yard duty and I needed a functional backpack. It needed to be lightweight, Water repellent, have multiple pockets, and a place to hold my walkie. This definitely does the job. My coworker even asked me to order her one.

Very roomy
I love this backpack. I've taken it on a few hikes and it holds all my stuff, very roomy. It has lots of different pockets and I like that a lot.

HA! Want a great bag for next to nothing?
I purchased the LARGE! 30L! Outlander Packable Handy Lightweight Travel Backpack Daypack+Lifetime Warranty with one purpose in mind.As an added safety feature on day trips while on vacation, I wanted to eliminate the need for my wife to carry her purse and to be able to also take some added items she normally doesn't have room for with us. I will primarily be carrying this pack, so I feel like it will be perfect for this purpose. I normally wind up holding her purse for her anyway so..........at least now I will get less stares.Getting to our destination I wanted something small and completely packable that would not eat up suitcase room. Not only is this barely there but it packs into itself so if you wanted to, you could take this out with you on day trips and only use it when you need it, for souvenirs etc.Second, as a day pack, there is more than enough room and more than enough compartments to take everything you could possibly need and keep it all organised in the process. Lightweight jackets, waterproof folding parkas, umbrellas, cell phones, water bottles, snacks, dry socks, hats. gloves, etc, will all fit in this back pack with room to spare. Heck, I bet you could easily get an entire change of clothes in this thing, shoes too.I like the shoulder strap pocket feature. I was thinking, it would be perfect for a MP3 player or cell phone with ear buds if you were hiking. I will try my Point & Shoot camera in there (Olympus TG-3). The mesh, open, side pockets (one on each side) will likely be big enough for a 1/2 L bottle of water and the included compression straps located above each one will prevent them from being unstable or falling out. If you are not the type to take water bottles with you and instead want to pack a larger, more substantial folding umbrella then these would be perfect for that. If you are going solo, then one water bottle and one umbrella. I mean the possibilities are endless.I am a large guy (3XL) and the straps are more than long enough even for my frame. Actually, they are long enough that if you loosen them all the way you can use this as a sling bag over one shoulder, or, and I tried this out, across the chest for the ultimate in security while very active, like jogging, or climbing. The plastic strap buckles are some of the best I have seen in this price range, and are better than some on more expensive packs. Very nice quality. The zippers are smooth and snag free.I am not sure what else there is to say that could add to this review except this is one of those purchases that you think is going to be a "you get what you pay for" but in fact it is the opposite. You really do get a lot more than what you pay for with this pack.I doubt very much it is waterproof, or even resistant as the material is just nylon, like a windbreaker but unless you get caught in a downpour you should be good to go. I suppose if you wanted to, you could get some of that waterproof spray and then you'd be set. If I am on vacation in the caribbean though, everything that I need to have with me during a day trip will not need to be inside a waterproof bag so this is not even close to being an issue for me with this pack. What can I say, the souvenirs I tend to buy come in 750 ml glass bottles :o)There is no reason this can't be used as your carry-on piece of luggage either. The material is strong enough to withstand some abuse but because it is nylon any sharp object will likely tear it. Again, I tend to steer clear of sharp objects so not an issue for me.I like it a lot, and it will be perfect for us. I bought the orange color for the high visibility in crowded places like markets, shops, and busy walkways so we can spot each other more easily. I highly recommend this pack if you want portability and low cost with many features.

Great pack
This bag worked very well on a recent international trip. The pockets make it easy to organize your stuff for on board flights or day trips. No problems with zippers or tears. Itβs really light weight and pscks into a small size when not in use. So far I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it.

30+ miles in Canadian Rockies = A+
This pack is great when you need a little more space due to hiking in layers. Loved having a few smaller pockets and the bottle holder came in handy for bear spray! Color is perfect, not too pink.

Best one for the price
I bought this to replace my Hoka One One backpack that I've had for seven years. I was upset and thought I wouldn't find a good replacement. I ride about 7 to 14 miles a day on my bike and I needed one asap. It arrived quickly and I love all the pockets/compartments it has. Will buy more of these for presents.

Delaminating rucksuck!
Ordered this day sack a few days before embarking on a 3 week cycle tour in Normandy. Initially, I was really pleased with it because it was the right size for using on a daily basis and when not in use packed down relatively small to fit comfortably in one of my cycle panniers. The sack is very lightweight and great for carrying valuables and food shopping. Unfortunately however, I noticed after only 10 days use, the fabric had begun delaminating i.e. the coating on the inside was peeling off. I am very disappointed because it was just the type of day sack I was looking for and now I'll have to find a replacement.NB can provide photos on request.

Holds Up To Water, May Not Pull Much Weight
I adore that this bag folds up inside itself. It is water wicking and has kept my electronics dry in drizzle with its parachute-like material. That material, however, feels better suited to holding a lot of volume, not weight. I feel very uncertain about loading it up with heavy books, but fine loading it up with textiles.

was a bit disappointed by the size
It looks bigger in the picture, was a bit disappointed by the size, which is just normal rucksack size. It is lightweight though and folds up neatly so will be useful to take on holiday as a spare bag, and for keeping in the car for when we need it.

Good lightweight backpack
Good lightweight backpack, with the added advantage of folding into itself for storage. Ideal for long walks where you need to take plenty of water etc. but want to keep the weight to a minimum.
