We bought this as a gift for "the grandpa" but after touching the blanket I experienced this horrible sensation come over me... the dreaded and all powerful selfishness. I thought "should I keep this luxurious blanket that is warm, thick, and like BUTTUH (said in best Barbara Streisand voice) on both sides, or let grandpa get a little harmless frostbite? The dilemma was heavy. I stroked the blanket, rubbed my face on it, and cuddled it like the silky little lamb it is... but in the end I realized I'm more of a moose person than a deer one and grandpa got his blanket. When he received it, he too was instantly infatuated and yelled " throw it on me! " I did so. I released my love in the hope that one day we'd meet again. You win this time, grandpa! (Shakes fist in air)

Long-lasting, well-made 'throw-blanket'. Covers a huge part of my Calif.Queen. My feline, calico, of 17yrs (just diagnosed w/1st stages of kidney disease) fell in love with it. She's a calico and almost nothing pleases her: hard to buy for if U get my drift. She loves it!When she first jumped on the bed, she 'stat' felt the 'fleece' softness! If she could grin, she did! Started kneading it like a baby sucking on her mother for nourishment!Showed her the pic and kept saying, 'Kahlee', c, Kahlee's, for 'Kahlee! She jumped all over it, hopping on it, rolling on her back, etc. It's been very hard to get her off of it. She got upset at me the first time I got out of (my-side) bed and didn't straighten out, just right, the blanket, as it suppose to be. Dirty looks, like 'if U wanna' lay under it, U straighten it'!Easy, squeezy to clean also.Great buy for my Kahlee Katz

I am re rating this . I originally rated low when arrived felt like cheap material. however after washing it turned out fantastic and very soft . I would recommend it. seller definitely packaged well and arrived on time . I absolutely love it!

My daughter LOVES horses & has been begging for a whole bed ensemble. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a quality set, and the cheap ones I looked at were...well, cheap! I opted instead to get a plain blue fleece-backed blanket (Bed,Bath&Beyond) and spread this on top. It looks gorgeous! It covers most of her twin bed top well, and the fleece that peeks out from the other side of this reminds me of a saddle blanket. It is so soft, I have washed & dried with no issues. It's one of her favorite Christmas presents. As an added bonus...it has encouraged my daughter to make her bed now so everyone can see the horses!

My bedroom is on the corner of the house and when the winter winds blow, it gets very cold. I use this throw as an extra top layer and it keeps me warm and cozy. I have been using it throughout this winter and its many very windy days, and I am so pleased that I purchased it. As an animal lover, the horse print is beautiful and obviously, it is a popular choice since it is currently out of stock.

Soft and warm. I use this blanket all the time. I love it.UPDATE: My Maine Coon kitty, Zenzi, loves to knead with her claws and suckle. This blanket is now her blanket instead of mine because so many of the threads have come out. So, if your kitty loves to knead and suckle and you love this blanket, please do not allow them to lay on this and do these things. I love my blanket and it breaks my heart :(

Bought for my daughters birthday.She fell asleep on the couch the night before so I left here there and just covered her up with it rather than wrap it.She woke up and was thrilled at the design and how warm it is. She loves wolves so this has quickly became her favorite blanket to snuggle under.
