Perfect fit and looks OEM. The software is a little mehh but it works for what you’d need it for. Video is clear and clips save to the micro SD. You can connect via its WiFi or remove the SD and use the provided adapter to recover the video - you will need to download VLC media player if you take the SD out and connect to your laptop - the WiFi download doesn’t require that but does take a little longer to download to your phone. My only recommendation is to get an upgraded SD card, I went with a SanDisk high performance for better reliability (heat) and quality and file size, I did the 256gb. The only other thing is regarding install - I have a 25 XC60 and there is a small trim piece provided from FitCam that I could not get to fit behind the mirror - just use the existing one and it fits perfect - it’s the smaller black plastic that is supposed to clip in after, between the mirror and shroud. I was worried at first because the SD got hot but apparently that’s just what happens when writing 4k, another reason to upgrade the SD - overall no issues with heat and I live in the southwest. I didn’t want wires everywhere and did not want to remove any pillar pieces - this does it. The YouTube video was helpful, just remember the final trim piece, use the one that came with the car and not the one from FitCam, I’ll try to show it in my photo. Note: it only records when the car is running or aux power is on, including when the door is open and initial power is active.

I've installed dash cams on several other cars and it's always been a hassle to get the wires tucked out of sight and to get the camera installed in just the right spot so it doesn't block your field of vision. Then during the dog days of summer, the adhesive invariably fails and the dash cam hangs down, dangling by the power cord. This innovative design is easy to install, requires no special wire routing and does not need adhesive pads. I watched the YouTube video and read the instructions and within 20 minutes the camera was installed and running perfectly. If you didn't know it was there, you would likely never notice it. It looks like a factory installed option! I did upgrade the video card to a higher capacity but the provided card is fine for normal use. Plug and play!

The dashcam provides high-quality video recording with a 4K front camera. I am taking away one star because the app takes just too long to connect in most cases.

I was up and running with this in 15 minutes! I followed along with the Fitcamx YouTube tutorial for my 2026 XC60. It's a really clean fit and the video quality is nice. Wish the app was a bit more polished, but it gets the job done. No feedback yet on performance in a time if need (like an accident).

The installation is a nightmare. It’s made of cheap plastic and it does not simply snap together. And the installation video is massively edited. There is a top piece of plastic that attaches to the top part of the mirror and it’s a complete nightmare trying to get connected. Maybe if you had tiny little fingers it would be easier but I regret ever removing that cover around the mirror.

This is my first dashcam and it is great. I was able to install it. The hardest thing for me was taking off the plastic behind the rearview mirror. The YouTube video did a wonderful job at explaining it. I received a message from the company to verify my vehicle to ensure it was the correct model that would fit. It was but I appreciate them checking before it was shipped. That was great customer service. Here is an update after accident. I totaled my vehicle and can NOT retrieve any data. Can not turn vehicle on to download anything and unable to locate sd card with data.

It took me 30 minutes to install as I was being super careful (definitely check out the youtube video). Once done it looks perfect and the video quality is surprisingly good. There is no frame drop or whatsoever. I am using the micro SD that comes with the camera as well. Now only time will tell how reliable this thing is in the upcoming summer.

Watch the YouTube video, but the install requires it to be installed on the larger cover first when installing, you need to remove the larger cover of the safety system and install the camera there first. Then install the unit. Other than that, easy install
