The buildup hits
When I first tried these, the flavour was amazing. Barely spicy, sweet, salty, everything you’d want in ramen. I thought to myself after about 3 bites, “this is what the internet’s been going crazy over for the past 3 years?? so dramatic.” and then as I ate, the buildup got to me. My mouth was burning so much and I don’t think I could’ve eaten it all without the 2 packs of seaweed and half a carton of chocolate soy milk I had. I also had to keep taking breaks; I had about 3 or so. I could NOT keep eating it without it. The inside of my mouth felt like it was literally gonna burn up and crisp off. I had to swish my mouth with the soy milk to get the capsaicin off of the sides of my tongue. That kinda helped. But yeah, after 2 entire packs of seaweed and a half carton of milk, I got through it. I’d rate the flavour an 8/10. I took two points off because the actual flavour of it gets lost in the spiciness about 6 bites in. 10/10 for the noodles; not your typical instant ramen noodles. Very nice quality. 6/10 for the price. $15(plus shipping) is a bit much for 5 packs of instant noodles. 8/10 for spiciness. Not as hot as I was expecting, but still pretty damn hot. I’d rate my overall experience about an 9/10. I took a point off because it did make my stomach hurt a bit after, but that’s to be expected. So yeah, eat it if you dare.

Good stuff. The heat is not overpowering for experienced spice lovers
(UPDATE: On the back of the 5 pack package it claims this is 8,808 Scoville Heat Units which is very low - on par with some of the hotter Jalapeño pepper breeds. So not that measurably impressive. Habanero peppers start at around 100,000 SHU, Ghost Peppers / Carolina Reaper hundreds of thousands/millions higher. Many hot sauces are far hotter than this. Making a YouTube challenge video for this is equivalent to a "can you eat a raw Jalapeño pepper" YouTube challenge, which isn't that impressive. Just pointing that out.) To the original review: This stuff is good. Do not let previous reviews scare you away from ordering this. If you aren't familiar with spice levels on par with hot peppers then this might be too much, but this is no where close to something one would make a "YouTube Challenge" in regards to because it's no where close to Carolina Reaper levels at all. I would even go as far as to say that I've eaten raw habanero peppers that were far far hotter than this. I could easily eat this multiple times without stomach issues or extreme mouth pain. The feeling in the mouth that I get from this is a very light, balanced burn. The heat level is not at a level that I have to run and get milk to cool it down, so I don't find it painful at all; it is pretty much perfect for what I like. Which is a good thing, because I often feel disappointed by how some people define "extremely spicy" in the US. There is actual flavor here in addition to the heat, but if you aren't used to hot food then the heat may distract you more. I'll probably be ordering more in the near future and I hope they raise the capsaicin levels higher than this in future products.

High quality spicy noodles for a reasonable price
This is probably the only listing that has these at a reasonable price ($13.72 for 10 packs at the time of this writing). Thick, chewy noodles with nearly twice as much food as cheapo 20 cent ramen you might find in stores. The spiciness does overpower the chicken flavor, but it's still really tasty. Respectably spicy, if you can handle habanero dishes this is probably manageable with milk. If you haven't built up a tolerance for that sort of thing, you need to be a little careful about eating these without milk because it'll build up as you eat and stick with you for a few minutes after you finish. Samyang Bulldark Spicy Chicken Roasted Noodles, 4.9 Oz (Pack of 10) (Package might vary) is also priced somewhat reasonably (they're about $16 at the time of this writing for 10) and is much milder though still noticeably spicy. If you can handle topping your food with Tobasco, you can handle these noodles just fine and they taste a bit better than this variety since it's not quite as overpowered by the heat. Either one can be diluted a bit by adding some extra food. I like adding some chicken, apparently porkless bites are a tasty vegan option according to a friend, brocolli's also good. Add your extra food in right before you stir fry the noodles so the sauce can coat and stick to everything. The package also says to just stir fry for 30 seconds - I find this leaves way too much liquid so I usually go for more like a minute.

An experience you won't forget
I followed the instructions which were your basic instant ramen directions. Boil water, add noodles, drain and add both sauce and flakes package. The result was a nice thick ramen, golden orange/yellow in color coated sauce. I took a.full bite of the noodles and tasted an almost sweet tangy flavor with perfectly cooked noodles, not too hard or.soft. Not bad at all I thought. I let the ramen coat my tastebuds. The heat was bearable, hot but doable. Second bite, third bite, the same. At bite number four something strange happened. My tongue began to burn and my eyes started watering. I chanced.another bite. The fires of hell began to burn on my lips.and tongue. 😈😠The sweltering heat swirled in my mouth like a California.wildfire. My nose began to.run and I felt my eyes pucker and burst into man-tears. 😢My wife turned to.see.my quivering hand bring to fork to my open fire engorged mouth and started to say "Don't do.it!" It was too late. Bite number five was like adding gasoline to the already out of control wildfire taking place in my mouth. My upper lip began to.sweat and I felt myself.entering into that zone of "Wtf did I just do? I got up, ran to the fridge and grabbed ice in a glass and poured strawberry soda and downed it in 3 seconds flat. The fire scoffed at me and burned hotter in my mouth for the next 10 minutes while I sat slobbering, teary eyed with a steady flow.of.mucus cascading over my mouth and down to my chin as I tried in vain to.douse the fire with strawberry soda between nose wipes. Finally, defeated I.sat at the kitchen chair staring at the bowl in front of.me. My wife grabbed it as she could see I was about to move forward with some.more.self induced pain. "Are you serious?" She said this in a much louder than usual voice. I looked at her perplexed and said "That's the best ramen I've ever had in my life!" She shook her head and walked.away to.the other room leaving me thinking ' She just doesn't understand.' Best ramen experience of my life.

Everyone should try it, but you probably won't try it more than once
This stuff is crazy spicy. I like hot food and often eat things that don't seem hot to me, that others say lights them up. I tried this on a whim. It was a 5-pack and I ended up giving 4-packs away. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't want any more. That seems to be most peoples reaction when I've given them a pack. The flavor is good, and it's not like it's super spicy. It's the cumulative effect. It's like each bite sensitizes you to the heat more and more. If I just ate a couple of bites, it wouldn't be terrible, but trying to finish a bowl is an excessive in pain. I like my food as spicy as I can get it and still have flavor, but this passes that threshold. It's just straight up painful to eat. You can't really enjoy it. It's the first spicy food I've ever eaten where I've had to use milk. I just tough out other hot things. I recommend everyone try it once, so you can say you have, but it's just a thing to do. I doubt there are very many people at all, who would just enjoy eating this as it's own dish.

FINALLY!
If you really like spicy foods and noodles, then this product is for you! I'm often disappointed by products that say they're spicy and then turn out to be lack luster. This product does not disappoint in that department. These are fiery hot noodles when prepared as directed and delicious. If you like a firmer noodle, only cook them three minutes instead of the recommended five. I also add a couple of thinly sliced garlic cloves in the noodles when I add the hot sauce (soup) packet, that just adds another layer of flavor to the heat. You could add anything you wanted to, but at the core these noodles are indeed spicy and I couldn't be happier with this product. I also like the fact that the soup is made with "white sugar" as opposed to corn syrup. Oh, by the way, 600ml is equal to two and a half cups. Depending on how much water you drain from the noodles prior to mixing in the flavor packets (soup), that will determine the heat level of the left over demon broth. I've tried it both ways, leaving no broth as it's absorbed by the noodles during consumption and leaving quite a bit of broth as a more traditional ramen soup. Both ways are delicious and a super treat on a cold winter day. I generally prepare two packages at a time, and can barely eat both, but do because it's that good. GREAT PRODUCT!

HOT!!!
This is tasty but way too hot. I would ONLY use about 1/4 of the spice bag or just add a little at a time because I made the mistake of dumping the entire bag in with the noodles lol. But it has a great flavor and smells amazing and if you are into super hot stuff, this would be great for you and a decent price!

Gave an Intense Spicy Foods Buzz but Not Too Spicy to Finish
I found this to be right on the brink of too spicy to enjoy and finish, but not over the line which is perfect. I finished the noodles and drank all of the remaining sauce. I got an intense and very pleasant spicy foods buzz that I am still feeling an hour later. I like spicy foods and am probably somewhat insensitive to capsaicin, so many would probably find this way too spicy. It all depends on your preference. It's definitely hot, my eyes and nose were watering a few bites in. Here's a tip if you're struggling, make sure you let it cool down or even chill it below room temperature. You become much more sensitive to hot foods (as in actual temperature) when your eating a lot of capsaicin. The flavor wasn't bad. It is a kind of wet, soupy noodle dish. The sauce packet is liquid and oily so the noodles have kind of a slimy texture which I do not prefer but was able to tolerate. Pick it up if you like very spicy foods or are looking for a challenge. The buzz I get from this level of spice is almost like doing drugs without the danger of drugs so I love it.

EXTREMADAMENTE PICANTES!
Los paquetes han llegado perfectamente, incluso más rápido de lo previsto. Los fideos son casi incomestibles de lo picantes que son. SUPER PICANTES! Pero muy ricos

Halten, was sie versprechen
