I was hesitant to buy this after some of the reviews with pictures of broken blades and complaints about the handle being plastic, but... no, it's actually pretty awesome. No part of this is plastic, from what I can tell (maybe the grip coating?). The hilt's all metal and has a good heft to it; it feels heavier than the other daggers I've bought on Amazon. The blade itself doesn't appear to be full tang, but also doesn't feel loose. I think as long as you're not attacking trees with it, it should hold in fine.Love the design of it, especially the blade. There's surprisingly few curved daggers on Amazon for a good price like this.

i love this knife,the design of it is awsome and the finger hole just makes it harder for your hand to slip.the blade has good thick steel but i have no idea if it is full tang or not thats my only problem.this knife is also very light.i would recommend this bowie knife for knife collecters or for a display peice(yes it is sharp).

This knife looks ok and it is a good cosplay item, but the first few inches of blade from the handle are plastic. The design is nice. The spider design makes it great for a dark and sinister cosplay costume, but it is not the knife for a collector or anyone who wants to look too closely at the blade.

We got this as a gift for our son and of course he loves it even though it stays mostly inside the sheath in his drawer as I am not sure what he would use it for other than carving sticks. I think his brothers are envious. I unfortunately did not read the size of the knife before ordering and so was a bit surprised when I received this large blade. It is a very nice knife though.

This knife is a joke -- First-off -- THIS IS NOT A FULL TANG BLADE. The blade is pushed into the plastic handle .I got this knife because I liked the design and it had some good reviews. WOW, this has to be the worse knife I've ever purchased. The handle is 100% molded plastic junk and even worse is the plastic design on the blade. This looks like a toy! The blade is very low quality steel. The knife broke after a little stress (see attached picture).There are so many fake reviews for this knife that are false and misleading.Just DON'T BUY!

Working great

Perhaps I missed it in the description, but the knife has a molded plastic handle. It's poorly balanced, and torques hard when it comes in contact with anything you chop. The blade is fine, for what it is, but the handle makes the whole thing look like a Halloween toy. It's not something you would want to show off.
