Good utility, nice shape
I live off-grid and am forever needing new kettles (I usually get them secondhand). This one does everything I need it to, the whistle is so much more pleasant than the typical kettles I've gotten, it holds a LOT of water, and nothing has fallen apart or melted yet after months of use.The whistle is low-toned and musical, not shrill/sharp/high.My only problem with it is that the tea basket has to be left in to secure the lid. I don't use this to brew tea in, so the basket is quite unnecessary for me and I would prefer to just not use it, but without it the lid simply doesn't fit snugly at all.

CAUGHT ON FIRE!
I loved this kettle! After searching for a month, this was finally going to be the one. It's large enough, it's easy to use and the whistle was charming. One day when boiling water like usual, the handle swiveled on to it side and it CAUGHT IN FIRE! This also caused the top handle to melt and charred the kettle.
