This was one of my favorite purchases of the year! It’s super sharp, heavy, medium sized, made beautifully, and reasonably priced for such a beautiful piece! I advise staining the handle and finishing with tung oil

Great for displaying
I bought this as a gift. The ax is very cool to look at and would be great for someone who wants to display it. The handle it nicely carved but the wood seems too lightweight and soft to make it a functioning ax. I don't know who would want to use this ax for splitting wood or any other use but it's worth mentioning. Made a great gift and looks amazing!
