Best cup of tea I’ve ever had
This tea is delicious! My husband and I immediately opened both packages up and tasted the tea after the package was delivered - SO fresh, fragrant and really smooth to drink. Our entire condo smells like what I imagine a tea plantation smells like. I also appreciate the steeping instructions are on the bag to minimize material waste. Finally, The tea is packaged really well in a resealable paper bag so it will stay fresh in the bag - which is important because it’s easily storable in our tea cabinet without having to use another container to keep it fresh.I’m totally ordering more, the seller appears to have a number of varieties available.

Good quality, very pleasant flavor.
I have been looking for a high-quality second flush Assam tea. I have found it with this product. It is a pleasant tasting and pleasant aroma of Assam tea as with all quality teas a little goes along way. I have actually gone through the first bag in a relatively short time and will be ordering more.

I know what good Darjeeling tea tastes like. This is very old stock, very poor quality taste. It should nto cost more than $ 0.50 cents for this quantity & quality.

Refreshing and smooth!
Found my new favorite tea! It smelled light and refreshing when I opened the tea bag. It had a nice floral smell when steeped and tasted clean and smooth. All the leaves were nice and full. None of those weird crumbly bits in tea bags. The directions were clear and easy. I took a chance on ordering online but this was a great pick! Will try other teas next!

Glendale Nilgiri Black - Not floral
Tasting notes - Earthy, wood, mild, mellow, hint of sweet -- Does not have the typical Nilgiri floral note. Think of a very very very toned down Darjeeling without the muscatel note.Lack of aroma in the dry tea and steeped. No surprise the taste is lacking too. This is the famous Glendale Estate and the price is over $100/lb for something that doesn't taste like much. I have single estate Darjeeling that cost less than half the price and stand out better. It doesn't bother me if it has different tasting notes as long as it's distinctive in a good way. It has more of a generic, black tea taste. For the price, where it's from and being a 2nd flush, it has me wonder how low the grade is. Even with a good grade of tea, the taste and aroma can hold up after a year or 2. I had bought a cheaper Nilgiri and then this hoping there would be a huge difference. Go figure the cheaper one has a stronger aroma.I was wanting to try the Puttabong, but that is not available. Even if the tea is $3/ounce, it is still pricey for lacking in aroma and taste. This blends with other black teas since the notes stay in the background. Not blend as in it has any notes to compliment another tea.Bit surprised this time with the single estate teas. Usually they're more distinctive in flavor. I tried a long list of teas that range from cheap to pricey. Never had I paid anything in this price range and think it's not worth it. The taste is more fitting to be under $20/lb. Not $118/lb.There are so many teas I rather have under $20/lb before I even pick this one for the same price. I wouldn't be so bothered if this cost $2.50 for the 50 grams. $5 max if we have to go higher. $10 would be pushing it. For $25, I'm better off getting a pound of some other tea.Drinkable, smooth, but not memorable or enjoyable enough for me to want a 2nd cup.1 star for the reasonable shipping time. 1 star for the tea. I should have looked at what else the seller sells that ranges in a lot of products to get an idea of what the tea would be like.If the tea was stored properly since last Summer, it would still have a good aroma a year later. This taste as if it was left out in open air vs. sealed well and all the aroma went away. Good tea maintains the aroma for a long time.

Delicious!
I tried this tea while searching for a replacement for my favorite tea which has been discontinued. I have had many disappointments until trying this one. It has a slightly sweet, smooth flavor and made for a fantastic pot of tea this morning. I highly recommend!
