I’ve been taking this brand of these vitamins for years. This is the best brand and quality out there. No fishy aftertaste, I also love how they paired the omega and vitamin D together as that is the best combination for Peri-menopausal woman.

This could well be 5 stars as I am not sure yet of the difference with other brands. I tried another brand once, but chose to stay with Nordic Naturals due to its contents, and I believe quality, for the following reasons: (1) addition of Vitamin D3 (which I am deficient and need this additional amount to supplement the 2500 IU that I already take daily); (2) a higher amount of EPA and DHA compared to other brands – essential for memory -- also, I can’t tell definitively as it could be age that my memory is not 100% -- but it has not declined since I’ve been taking this and another brain supplement; and (3) last and of a lesser priority is the addition of lemon – there’s no fishy aftertaste.

I know this product helps me because when I ran out of it I found it was more difficult to think clearly, my joints hurt and my mood was grumpy and down. When I started taking it again all these things completely reversed within a few days. This has happened on several occasions over the last several years (I've been taking this since 2007). This product also helps my vision to be clearer, my eyes to stay lubricated and I am more regular when taking it. I recently started my 10 year old on the kids version and I've noticed big improvements in her mood too! When we've run out, I've seen a complete reversal so I know it is from the omegas and vitamin D. I used to buy it from whole foods but it is far less expensive here. I recommend this.

Some fish oil capsules have a weird taste but this one has no taste which is what I like about it. They are large capsules but go down easy.
