A sequel
I love Silvia Violet's Vigilance, Theriot Family, and Marchesi Family book series. I've read them alll. I believe that at the very least, reading Devil from the Marchesi Family would be necessary to enjoy this Christmas-themed sequel.Just like in Devil (Book 3 of the Marchesi Family), we have Joe (ex-cop) and Devil (mob boss) as the MCs, so a bit of background in how they got together would help understand the story. But, as Giorgio (from Book 1 of the Vigilance series) and Lucien and Angelo (from books 1 & 2 of Marchesi Family series) all show (along with many other side characters), it would be much better enjoyed with knowledge from both series.Joe and Devil have been together for a while. Devil has been wanting to get married and whisk Joe off to a tropical honeymoon. But, first, he has to ask. But, he hasn't found the right time. Finally, he decides that the "right time" is right after they've made love, before cleaning up, covered in sweat. Joe agrees to marry Devil, because what they both want most is a mark to tell others that their lover is theirs. They're both quite possessive. And that is the start of the whirlwind called Devil that Joe gets caught up in.What Devil doesn't know, though (about Joe's revenge, about things that Joe hasn't told him) may end up hurting them both and possibly others. The heat level is 5star high! There are also lots of Christmassy-couple-y activities that Devil drags Joe into. And lots of love between the 2 men. It's the continuation of the 2 men's love story, complete with both fighting for dominance (but not so anyone gets hurt) and fighting to protect each other. A lovely addition to the Dark Mafia romances and would be read again. And again. And again. 5 stars

Too much sex, no story
I'm surprised so many people liked this. It was waaaay too much sex and not enough story. By 100 pages in, still no story had developed other than Devil being a sex addict and control freak. Which was so off-putting. Cause in the other books you can see he's better than that.I still love Sylvia Violet's stories. Just not this one. I didn't even finish it.

More Joe & Devil!
Well holy hotness ya’ll!! If you’ve ever said to yourself “I wish I could get some more sexy times with Joe and Devil”, then look no further reader! Devil and Joe are two of my favorites from the Marchesi series and this one took their sexy times to the next heat level!! I loved the dominance Devil tried to pull on Joe, and when Joe let him get away with it…until he didn’t! I loved their dynamic, their chemistry and how they handled the latest case thrown their way. This was a great accompaniment to the Marchesi series and I’m eager to snag this in audio as well!

Oh, Devil. Never change.
This shortish holiday story is mostly Devil and Joe getting busy, which is fine with me because Silvia Violet can write as of hot sex scenes as anyone in the genre. There's a bit of excitement, too, with an escaped killer. It's just the right amount for this length book.I loved seeing some of the Marchesis again. I think Devil is probably my favorite of them all, though. He and Joe are so growly and possessive of each other. I just love this series!

Better the Devil you know.
I can never get enough of Devil and Joe. This has been one of my favorite couples of the series and I was so excited that we got to revisit with them.Devil is always so high handed and Joe is always so long suffering. It’s somehow works for them so well. This book was so spicey. It’s like there was some extra holiday spice sprinkled in and it was so delicious.I am so happy that we got to spend the holiday with Devil and Joe.

Devil and Joe
I love this couple. They are both absolutely insane but in a good way and love each other immensely. After a rushed wedding, Devil can’t wait to get his new husband, Joe, on a honeymoon. The only problem is that danger follows them wherever they go.A Devilish Christmas is funny, sweet and oh so steamy. I really hope Silvia continues to write about the Marchesi family because they have become some of my most favorite books to read.

Devils Christmas present
Joe and Devil are my favorite couple, so I will read any of their stories I can get my hands on. Devil loves to spoil Joe and has a romantic present planed. An escaped serial killer has other plans for Joe and Devil has to put romance aside to save his husband.

Good to revisit
The Marchesi family is my favorite of the three series that all link. I enjoyed this book but really would have like more story and dare I say less sex. Never thought id say that but it's true. The story was rushed and not nearly enough time catching up with the family.

Loved!
I'm more than happy to catch up with Joe and Devil. I would buy their books time and time again. (And Niall and Marco. I'm hinting Silvia!)For me there is always a stand out couple in each series.. Devil & Joe.. Niall & Marco and I think it will probably be Dax's book in the newest series. I personally would love a little extra book on each of these couples to round out each series. Christmas, Valentine's ext. Whatever. And who wouldn't want a Niall and Marco extra as well 🙏. But this was great. These couples stand out in my opinion because of how much they love each other. They feel like they would die without eachother. Crazy. But beautiful to read. Loved it!

Christmas’s adventures!
This is one of my favorite series and I loved when I discovered that this Christmas story featured Devil and Joe. Some miscommunication caused unexpected danger and some angst that put some strain in their relationship but at the end they showed us how strong and perfect was the love for each other. A beautiful Christmas story in the pure Marchesi style!
