Good basic hand model, joints a little loose
Worked well, except that for two things: the joints were a little loose so it didn't stay where it was put, and the range of motion on the thumb was more limited than a human thumb.Also bear in mind that the product is much smaller than an adult hand.

The thumb is weird.
The thumb is in a weird spot and it’s very unnatural. I bought this for a gift but I will be returning it.

Semi realistic
Fingers can only be manipulated so much, limiting the poses you can set up to sketch- for example, when the Fingers are manipulated into a peace sign, typically you would spread your fingers apart to create a V, but with the limits of the mobility of the wooden hand the Fingers remain straight up and down causing the pose to look unrealistic and more like a person holding up 2 Fingers. Nonetheless, my daughter has found it helpful in working on polishing her sketching of the human hand to be more realistic and proportionate.
