Playroom Ent Ligretto Red Set

I have three sets of Ligretto cards (red, blue and green) so I can play with up to 12 people. As everyone says it's simple to learn, fast crazy fun, and everyone wants to play again and again. It's especially great for gamers who don't want to think, write, draw, or be quizzed to death. I always laugh when new players don't yet understand why you have to clear the table of food and drink glasses to avoid accidents in the melee. New players start out sitting down and they are on their feet after the first round! If there's a lull in a party or a game night, Ligretto will get the party going!

This game is like a multiple player solitaire with a fewer card deck. It is OK but there is not a lot of strategy involve. I have played it about 6 times with family and friends and I have won every time. The order of finish is fairly constant because you don't really learn better strategies it is just a matter of who has the fastest reflexes. Not a bad game and it would probably be better with young kids. My youngest is 11.

We have had so much fun playing this game with family and friends. Lots of fun for a large group just have to buy additional boxes. Believe there are 3 different colors so you can play up to 12 people. Highly recommend this is you want to keep a large group laughing and having fun. Quick pace and everyone plays at same time!

This is a SUPER fun game for small or large (with extra sets) groups. We love family game night and this is becoming a new favorite. We were introduced to it by some friends at a New Years Eve party and now we play it with them every chance we get! :) It's also nice to have more sets so you can have faster people play together and slower people (young kids) so that the competition level remains equal. Once you have all three sets you can divide them up into as many groups as you need at a time. It's fun to follow the rules exactly, or play a simplified version (for kids or adults) without the 'ligretto' stack. It's wonderful and very flexible! :)

Ligretto is fun, fast, easy to learn, and competitive. With three sets up to twelve players can participate, but this Red set has one disadvantage that the Blue and Green don't. To allow for multiple players, each set has four card decks with distinct backs, but two of the Red set decks have backs with similar colors that make it just a bit harder to sort them. I'd recommend getting the Blue or Green sets first.

It’s an easy game we were just getting an expansion but these cards are cheaply made and very thin compared to the other packs we have.

This is an Awesome Game!! Great for small or large groups. Each set comes with 4 decks and every player needs a deck - so the only way to make it better would be to have more decks in each box set so that you don't have to buy so many... but its totally worth it!
