Can the waist length adjust

Hello,thank you for your order.There are an instruction in the bos.How to adjust waist lengthTo length the torso/waist,notice a red plastic toothed collar covering the gray center pole located under the inside skirt of the form.Turn the red collar slightly to the left to disengage retainer teeth,pull down until the desired length is obtained,twist collar to the right to re-engage the teeth.To return to original height,simply reverse the preceding stage.If you have any question,please feel free to contact us.Have a good day!

Is the pole off set to allow for pants?

No - it is in the center you can’t pull pants onto this dress form
