Very easy setup....plugged in HDMI turned it on and away I went...DVD displayed. Very very good price and nice and compact. One thing I really like is there's no bright flashing lights (there are obviously leds to show it running) and watching a movie in the dark there wasn't any distractions. I am genuinely happy I chose this product. Dispatched and delivered on time too.

For the price it is excellent! I’ve always gone for Top quality, however I wanted something quick, and it arrived quickly,easily set up and it was just perfect for my needs

With the propensity of downloaded media suddenly being made unavailable despite you buying it for what you thought was forever, Wifey and I have decided to restart purchasing physical items that can be watched whenever it is wished. The storage of such items is a trade off we are willing to take versus 0 and 1s. The player itself is a compact unit that squeezes nicely between other televisual entertainment items and is not unpleasant to the eye. It comes with all the necessary connections one would require to achieve a pleasant viewing experience. The only thing it does not do is open the DVD case and place the DVD in the player. I would consider that a first world problem that should be addressed at the earliest opportunity. The remote fits nicely in the hand and has just the right amount of things to press that will control the player to one’s satisfaction. Almost silent in use with excellent picture and audio quality make this a sagacious purchase.

The DVD player worked, but the remote didn't work, so I had to return it

Sparked and then smell of smoke - it now won’t work. Please get in touch. I can post the item back so it can be analysed for faults to ensure future products are safe and aren’t a fire risk Updated: great customer service and got a new one in a week

You get what you pay for i guess...in my case a dvd player that can't read discs. Others seem to have better luck. Oh well,
