OK ladies... Time to clear up the smell issue I've read about on some of the reviews. I am currently 27 years old and 6 weeks pregnant. I have literally spent every night for the past 20 years having a small bowl of chocolate ice cream. ( I'm a little obsessed with my double fudge chocolate ice cream) When I was 4/5 weeks preggo, my need for chocolate went away. I have no interest in it anymore. It kind of breaks my heart. Now back to the lotion.... It's like bathing in chocolate!!!! It's cocoa butter so of course it's going to smell like chocolate. I lllloooooovvvvvveeee it!!!!!! I may not be interested in the taste but the smell is amazing.As far as the texture, it is a little bit of a thicker lotion than I normally use. It tends to make me feel sticky for a couple of hours after I put it on which is annoying. I don't know how well it works because I just started using it and I don't have a baby bump yet.But...... It smells like chocolate!!!! :-) for that alone, it's worth every penny.

I'm currently 28 weeks and have been using this since I found out I was pregnant at about 6 weeks and it has helped kept my belly soft and smooth. I'm not sure if it will completely prevent stretch marks but I sure am trying, I apply it twice daily once in the morning and then once at night after I shower. I will give an update after the baby as to how well it helped with stretch marks.Update: I was induced at 37 weeks so I didn't carry full term, but I am now 3 weeks PP and I have not seen a stretch mark yet! I'm not sure if it was 100% the lotion, I'm 5'2" and started at 159 lbs and gained 23 lbs gradually during the pregnancy. Either way I am one happy new mama!

I like this lotion cause its not as heavy as the butter types, and it seems to be working but I am only in my 6th month so we will have to see....UPDATE:after using this through months 5-10 of my pregnancy, I can say that I didn't get any stretch marks! I started off healthy and only gained 23 lbs so that could have helped. I've also read that it doesn't matter what you use, some people are just going o get them and some aren't. That being said, I gained some weight when I was younger and have stretch marks on my thighs from that. But I didn't get any new ones from being pregnant. I was also VERY careful not to stretch my skin when reaching for things, while lying down, etc. I think that helped too! I will definitely use this again if I have more children!

It worked with removing my stretch marks

I love this stuff. I’ve used it on my belly through my whole pregnancy (first time Mom) and at 38 weeks, no stretch marks. Could be coincidence, but I also like how it keeps my skin moisturized without feeling sticky. I apply it immediately after each shower right after toweling off. On the rare occasions when I forgot to use it, I could tell the difference- my skin felt tighter and itchy all day. It smells faintly of chocolate (from the cocoa butter) and I find this pleasant, but some might not. I don’t smell it once I put my clothes on. I plan on continuing to use it after the baby comes.

This lotion smells wonderful and is very smoothing for my pregnant wife's belly. We are half way through the third trimester and so far no stretch marks other than her linea alba line (which no lotion can prevent). Plus its a great experience to apply to her skin and feel my son kicking back in response. My wife has very sensitive skin and so I was worried she may develop a rash as she has with other lotions but this one has only given her relief! It doesn't take much to cover her whole belly. I bought two bottles and we are almost through with the first since the first trimester.

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and have been searching for something to help with my stretch marks that didn't leave me feeling sticky for hours. I tried a bunch of different products including bio oil, raw shea butter, and some random mommy butter. None of those products worked for me. I've been using this for a few weeks now and my red stretch marks have gotten a little lighter. But what impressed me about this product is the fading of the stretch marks on my thighs from forever ago. Those things have been on my thighs forever and are barely there now. This product also doesn't leave me feeling sticky for long. It absorbs very well. Also has a pleasant sweet smell. I don't use this product every day because I'm horrible at remembering to do so, but I use it after I shower and I use it when I do remember. The fact that I'm still getting results is awesome. I would recommend this to anyone who has some stretch marks even without being pregnant.

I was using this one since my second month throughout the whole pregnancy (twice a day, and three times per day during the last trimester). I continued to use it for one more month postpartum. I don’t have stretchmarks at all! It works perfectly. (I also drank a lot of water during my pregnancy (at least 10-12 glasses per day), I read it also helps you with stretchmarks and swolleness (I had some, but it didn’t cause any discomfort and I was even able to wear my regular shoes)
