2015 release. Recalling the early spirit and danger of rabble-rousing rock heroes, Biters have faithfully built upon their punk heritage and their love of 70s Rock to deliver music that ignites, incites and excites in equal measure. Displaying a heart full of Rock 'n' Roll, the band play foot-stomping, fist-pumping, spit-on-the-floor anthems possessed of a fighting spirit that refuses to give in. An aura of recklessness and intimidation surrounds The Biters mythology. Yet amongst all of the raw riffage, teeth marks and broken glass, the band serve up instant hooks and shout-along choruses. This ear for melody has not been lost on others - the likes of Green Day have proclaimed Biters among their favorite new bands.

Rock and roll, the way it OUGHT to be!
Sick of phoney assembled bands? Tired of the over-zealous social reformers in music? Tired of whiny emo twits? Then grab this CD, ASAP. The Biters ARE rock and roll reborn. From the wreckage of other bands, Tuk Smith built the Biters to fit his vision of rock and roll, and how it ought to be, and he did it right. Hooks for days, crunchy power chords, and lyrics that might seem simple, but when you think about it, they're actually a searing commentary on the state of music these days. "Low lives in high definition, I want to smash my television, Somebody let me out of the cage, I'll pull the guitar out of the grave" In other words, sick of the fake manufactured pop, he wants to make guitar oriented rock and roll the behemoth of the industry again. From party on anthems like "Restless Heart", to thoughtful looks at mistakes made, to thunderous slams of today's music, this band covers it all, and it sounds amazing. Tuk Smith and Matt Gabs rip it up on guitar, Phil Kross thunders on bass and backs up Tuk's vocals, and Joey O'Brien rocks the drums (in a coonskin cap, no less!). Their love of such previous heroes as Cheap Trick, Thin LIzzy and the Rolling Stones is obvious, and hey, with an album this good, they're on their way to that level of greatness! They also back it 100% on stage, so grab this CD, and go see them live, you won't regret it!

Power Chord Rock and Roll!
A treat for all of you who love power chords! A favorite from first listen is "Electric Blood", a extremely well crafted, crunchy and hooky rock and roll song performed with a basic rock sensibility. The approach throughout is basic rock and roll, yet so few bands can execute this simple genre with honesty. In fact no track on the entire album tries to venture into new sonic ground or get experimental. This album is a natural for vinyl, and the split black and red platter sounds great and is killer to look at. If you dig "classic rock", and I don't mean The Eagles, you should support the efforts of Biters and pick up "Electric Blood", or no longer complain about the Biebers of the world.

" this album represents a refreshing and most hopeful return to what has always made rock so great musically and lyrically
Kudos to the other well written and descriptive reviews of this new album. As an older guy with "A Heart Full of Rock and Roll," this album represents a refreshing and most hopeful return to what has always made rock so great musically and lyrically. This is a real return to the real thing, coupled with an excellent and powerful job of production and engineering. The Biters have obviously worked to craft their sound in both live and recorded performances with a true and honest return to the best of the 70's. This is no copycat band trying to commercially revisit what once was mainstream rock. This is the real thing and completely genuine. Nobody records like this anymore! There is true presence and power in the tracks, with every sonic detail present in an out in front recording technique with great dynamic range and minimal compression. I haven't heard drums mixed this well in a long time. This is an album to play through very good quality amplification with great transient response, and speakers with a high quality turntable and cartridge, I have a high quality CD player which works well too. It is really enjoyable to hear the many classic influences within these tracks that the band obviously respects deeply. Some of these include The Cult and David Bowie. Tuk's vocals are very strong, as are the quality layered harmonies. This band restores my faith that possibly new young bands could once again emerge to challenge the shallow, mind numbing, and sanitized current crop of mainstream bands who shun excellence in recording and engineering in order to present their bland and compressed sound that they consider to be their ideal sound as a band.

Buy the CD instead.
Great album of hard driving Rock n’ Roll! The Vinyl lacks some dynamics that are present on digital formats.I recommend buying the CD or the Digital Download instead.

Retro hard rock to feel good about....
Cool retro style reminds me a bit of London Quireboys with a bit of Kix mixed in. Great new band if you just want to kick back with a brew or my personal choice a nice whiskey and jam. Check their video on YouTube to get the vibe and enjoy

WOW! This is really good.
I heard a sample track on my Classic Rock CD and liked it. So I bought this album and it is tremendous. This band should be huge and this album deserves to sell heaps. There are no bad tracks ("all killer and no filler"). It is quite simply hard melodic rock of the best kind and I can't recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favour and buy it.

Not stopped playing this!
Take me back....to 1975, not half! This is a brillant slice of retro rock, with new fresh energy, Tuk Smiths wonderfull lyrics, great riffs, harmonies and punk attitude. Think Marc Bolan meets Lizzy, with every 70s hook slung in there for good measure, caught them live at Sheffield, these guys where tight, and a whole lot heavier, no bad thing. Album of the year for me, and " Dreams dont die"?....song of the year! Buy it and smile....
