Buy it and enjoy it!
In short, this is the BEST $200 you can spend on bedding. Buy it and enjoy it!The problem with this stuff is, it's really SUBJECTIVE, so here's our story. We are 180 and 130# average folks. We currently have a $1000 queen size coil spring, foam top mattress at home.We needed a replacement mattress for our summer home where we have an old school full size cheapo coil spring job. No brainer there.I've slept on two other Amazon acquired units in this price range which effected my impression. I'll comment on this later. The mattress arrived as promised, in two days. We had to travel, so I left it boxed for another 2 days. The box was almost 6' tall x 14"x14". It was surprisingly heavy. 130# could not have moved it alone. I lifted it myself, but two people would definitely be a good idea, especially if there are stairs involved.I unboxed the unit and it took shape rapidly! I'd say it was all but done in less than 30min. We left it 24hrs for good measure. They don't tell you how to open the box. I used a sheetrock knife, being careful NOT to cut the mattress, which is directly behind the cardboard. I made a cut about 1/4" below and around the top. Then turn the box over and lift it off the unit.Once opened, there are setup instructions inside. The mattress is wrapped in plastic, which you cut and remove with a scissor. The odor? Zero. Was none.We installed ours over the existing box spring. Our impressions:Overall, the mattress is FIRM. I say this because the others I've experienced were softer. It's not a cushy mushy mattress. It's foam though, so it's much different then any coil spring mattress. It's more compliant. It takes your shape, but still provides support. The edge>I can sit on the edge and dress and it supports my 180# frame NP.The gully>When we lie close, it forms one big pocket. If we lie 6" or so apart, it forms two separate pockets. We don't find it annoying, but others here have noted it as a "fail".The temperature>We haven't noticed any temperature difference from any other mattress experience.PT>NP. Plenty of support. As good or better than any other mattress.Longevity?>Can't say. It's brand new.Other Mattresses>I mentioned I've slept on two other similar mattresses at this price point. Both were WAY more cushy and comfy. When you lie on them, you sink in and don't want to move. It's so comfortable, you rarely turn! Amazing. It's so soft, when you use your hands to lift yourself to slide across, your hands sink into the mattress and you don't move. It's easier to simply roll out of bed! LOL. Both had enough support to sit and dress on the edge. Personally, I like these better.Functional?>I'd say I'm sleeping more soundly, waking up less often and even turning less often as compared to my coil spring mattress with the foam top(forget the old school job!).I like the mattress and would buy it again. At this price point, it's a WIN WIN. For a summer home or a guest room, it's a Cadillac! For an every day sleeper it's fine, but if you experience the more cushy unit, you may want it.The Rub>Don't forget, you may need to dispose of your old unit. This can be a hassle, moving it, transporting it and disposing it.

Happy Gambler!
Initial Reaction: I. Freaking. Love. This. Mattress. Now, let's not get too ahead of ourselves, I only recieved the thing yesterday. But I am in mattress heaven. I am a 30 year old, 5'6", 125 pound female who has been sleeping on the same coil spring mattress since I was 19. For the past I-don't-even-know-how-long I have not been sleeping well. I'll wake up in the middle of the night tossing and turning and cannot go back to sleep. Maybe once every three nights I would get a good-night's sleep. But, overall, I've been one very tired, very grouchy girl. Needless to say, I decided it was time for a new mattress. Now, I'm not gonna lie, I had probably every 12-inch, full-sized memory foam mattress on Amazon "in my cart" at one point. I just couldn't decide which to pick. Ultimately, I came to this conclusion: Buying a mattress online without trying it out first is a GAMBLE. A big one. Now, I figured I could afford a $270 gamble much more easily than I could a $450 or $600 gamble. If I didn't like it, that would suck. I'd be mad, but at least I'd only be out $270 and not $450-$600. I'd be mad (Hello, single teacher here! I don't have deep pockets!), but I could survive it. And, given the reviews, ratings, and specs on this mattress, I decided to go all-in.I'm feeling like I should hit up Vegas now or something, because it seems my gamble has DEFINITELY PAID OFF. This mattress is firm, but not too firm. Goldilocks-style, you know? Just right. Firm enough for sleeping on my back, soft enough for sleeping on my stomach or side. Every part of my body sinks in and is supported evenly -- the key word here being "supported." It fully supports ALL of me. And, for a girl with a butt my size, that says a lot. Generally my lower back, just over my butt, gets little to no support, because my big ol' hiney is taking it all. My upper back and butt make an arch and my lower back between gets left unsupported (like a foot with a high arch in a shoe with no egg). Lumbar support is my BFF. When I first laid down on my back on this mattress I really and truly felt little tingles in my lower back. It was like it had never felt the support before and it was cheering for it. Happy back = happy me. And on this mattress, I'm happy on my tummy, my side, and my back. I'm just... Happy! Here's what I should note: I am a single girl and my adoration for this mattress is based solely on that. I have no idea how it would hold up if shared. As far as pictures go, you can see pictures of the mattress from the product description, so I decided to add pictures of the packaging. The box it came in was a little beat up (and its ink got ALL OVER ME, so watch what you're wearing when you haul that box around!), but the mattress was still secure in its plastic wrap inside. While nothing was wrong with my mattress, I could easily see how others might get damaged in shipping. I guess that's just another gamble you have to take. And it was a little hefty and awkward to maneuver, but I managed to get it to my room, on my bed, and inside my mattress protector all by myself (and I'm no He-Man!).Do I think you should buy this mattress? That's your gamble to take.
