My husband usually gets the walkerswood scotch bonnet hot sauce but after trying this brand he won't be buy from them anymore. He says the flavor is amazing and the heat is perfect.

Ok, I love Frank's Hot Sauce and it has been my go to hot sauce for a long time. But no more! This Jamaican Yellow Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce by Spur Tree far surpasses it in taste and most definitely in heat. When I received it I just had to open one of the bottles and try a teaspoon full and I can't get over how amazing this hot sauce is. It has a nice fruity taste and it does bring some serious heat. I'm very much looking forward to using it in a pot of chili, in my spicy wings recipe, a taco salad, and any other dish I may want to spice up. I didn't have the broken bottles, poor packaging issues that I see some have experienced. I have already placed and received a second order and both were very well packaged with no broken bottles.

This is currently one of my go-to hot sauces. I tried it and a restaurant and went right to Amazon to get some myself. Initially I would've preferred to just get one bottle rather than three, but given how quickly I am going through it I am glad I went with the three pack. I would describe the spiciness as medium, although I may have a high tolerance. It is hot enough to be exciting but it's not one of those hot sauces you approach as some test of endurance. My wife considers it very hot but not to the extent that it overpowers the taste. She frequently uses/prefers Sriracha, for reference. The taste is bright and fruity--although there is no fruit--this is all the scotch bonnet pepper. There also appears to be no added sugar. I am amazed with how flavorful this pepper is while still making a strong impression with heat. I have since sought out a couple other hot sauces that primarily use scotch bonnet peppers and they have all been good, but this one is still my favorite so far. The bubble wrap packaging was very secure. Other reviewers had issues with burst bottles so perhaps they have gotten their act together more recently or else this is just one of those things that can go wrong in transit sometimes and you roll the dice.

The flavor is great. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star review is because the heat was too much. This stuff had me up here gasping for breath and looking for water. I’d still eat it again though 😂💖

My favorite pepper is the scotch bonnet since my first trip to Jamaica years ago. Since then I have bought endless sauces, all of which fell short. Be it because they are mixed with other types of peppers or other ingredients such as fruit that diluted the unique and special flavor only particular to the scotch bonnet. I could make it but I can only find fresh scotch bonnet from Etsy seller that charges a small fortune to ship from Florida so I only did that once. Then I discovered these!! Knowing full well the risk I was taken buying 3 with such past disappointments but my obsession with scotch bonnets prevailed! It did not disappoint!! I love love love this sauce. It really is just crushed scotch bonnet and culinary life as I know it has changed in my household! I recommend this 100% - take note that it’s NOT for the faint of heart. It’s incredibly spicy even if you plan to mix it with into other sauces or condiments. You need to be use to serious heat! 🌶️ 🔥 🥵

Excellent product. Poor packaging. This is my second time that I have ordered and one bottle broke. I need it replaced please.

This product was a significantly lesser quality than the individual glass bottle I purchased previously. I don't mind them using plastic over glass necessarily, but the product in these plastic bottles is chunky does not distribute well and it's not easily used on products for spicing them up. Will not be purchasing again.

Good sauce. Great flavor, but one bottle had definitely leaked. The packaging job left a little to be desired.
