Sun shines through allowing light nicely!
Purchased for the protection AND the clarity to allow natural sunlight through for light in my basement. Did a great job for both!

Great value and very sturdy! Easy to install
Was hesitant to buy these because they were more double the price of the low cost option but so glad I did. So easy to install and they feel really sturdy. I had to jam one into a tight spot between the house and AC using a lot of force and it didn’t crack or break. Very happy with this purchase and should have bought these ages ago!

Less expensive but fairly brittle
Not too hard to install and relatively inexpensive but I've broken two of them the last couple weeks by dropping items on them. To be fair these were tools I dropped but plastic is pretty brittle and shattered. Despite this, I'll likely end up with the same ones due to price of other options. I guess my real complaint is that window wells and covers are stuck in the mid-1900s :/

Over priced
It didn't fit exactly so I tried to trim it to fit. Any cut causes the the material to break up into little chips. It is very brittle so make sure it is the exact size our you'll be tossing it in the trash minutes after arrival. I dont think anyone could stand on this without falling into through.

Good Fit!
This clear plastic cover fit over the outside basement window very well.

Very nice, way more durable than the ones you buy at Home Depot/Lowes.
So far so good, they are quite durable, much thicker than the off the shelf ones at the big box stores. I have only had them for one summer though, so we will see how many years they last.

Great for custom window wells.
My window well is too small for most covers. This one was the closest. You don't have to attach it to the house to install it. It comes with clips that fasten to your window well and allow for easy access later.The back of the cover had some extra plastic and didn't fit snugly to the house so I had to do some trimming. This kind of plastic tends to snap if you are too aggressive, so I didn't use scissors. I took a razor blade and went over the same line repeatedly letting the blade do the work (like cutting glass) and didn't have any problems.
