Don't pack it tight and then attempt to put in your fillings.

Bamboo Hand Roller Is Much Easier.
Okay, I have bought many sushi rollers and other sushi devices. This is actually a 2 step process. The rolls are rather large after you push them out onto your nori. Not exactly that friendly. After all these bought sushi rollers, machines, I go back to my bamboo hand roller. I have total control over my sushi roll. Amen.

I agree with the person that spoke of the design flaw. As soon as I took it out of the box the two pieces fell apart. It was a bit difficult to keep it from unhinging when I put stuff in it, but once I got it closed it worked just like it's supposed to.

Learning Curve
There is a bit of a learning curve with this device. I mainly had issues getting the bazooka to snap closed. But, it worked great when I got the hang of it. It even can be used with cauliflower rice.

Waste of $
It comes apart really easily. It get that the two halves need to come apart for cleaning purposes but the fact it can't even stay together when we fold them together is just horrible. Big waste of money and I'll stick to manually rolling them with bamboo. Very disappointed.

Got this for a sushi making party with friends so we weren't all crowded around my other sushi making kit. Everyone ended up loving the bazooka and preferring it over my much more expensive kit.

Good unit
Haven't used yet but as described and appears something I will use. Sushi is a favorite of mine, difficult for me to build using traditional methods. Looking forward to trying.
