I prepare a lot of meals in pans that I have to cover with foil for most of the baking time. Things like enchiladas or meat covered with canned soup or stewed tomatoes.My primary motivation for purchasing this set was the fact that the sheet pan is the same size as the cake pan. I tested it out on a batch of enchiladas first. Instead of covering the pan with foil, I put the inverted sheet pan on top and removed it near the end to brown the cheese over the top of the enchiladas.It worked great and saved the expense and trouble of messing with aluminum foil. It also allowed me a bit of extra height that foil wouldn't give me. The seal may not be as tight as a foil seal, but should work fine for most use. You could always use foil too.For the price, this set is endlessly versatile. Bake a cake and you've got the plastic cover for storage. The sheet pan can be used on its own or as a lid for the cake pan. You can set out pastries or other desserts on the sheet pan and the plastic cover will protect them.Very sturdy pans that should hold up to plenty of use.

My mother cooked with aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel cookware for years. I being of the newer smarter generation (lol) used regular steel and teflon. all of mine turned to rust or the teflon flaked off within a year and I would buy another because it was cheaper to buy. I am now 58 yrs old and have now replaced everything with aluminum ,cast iron and stainless steel. Mother did know best. Bless her.I spent enough on cheap brands to pay for the better made cookware. Nordic ware is the best. Beware of cheaper made aluminum brands.They will not warp, food cooks evenly. Baked on food comes off quickly. Just hold pan under sink faucet and let hot water heat the pan up. Use a nylon dish brush and they look like new.No hard scubbing and then finish handwashing with soap or use the dishwasher.We also use the cake pan with a Harold Imports Broiler Rack bought on Amazon to cook two chuck roasts. I will never ever buy any other brand again. I have two brother in laws, one sister in law , one daughter in law and three sons all using this brand now because of the service they have seen out of my wifes and mine Nordic pans during the holidays. I love Nordic Ware's even-heating aluminum baking pans----they are the very best pans I have ever found! They are so very sturdy and are made of high quality aluminum. I recently bought this set because I love the Nordic Ware 9 x 9 inch covered pan I have that is much nicer than any of the other metal baking pans I have ever owned. The plastic lid for these pans has no bubbles in it and it even has a cute design in part of it-----it snaps on tightly on the larger cake pan and a little looser on the sheet pan. I love the fact that the big pan fits inside the sheet pan for easy storage. I have washed my other pan in the dishwasher and I have had no problems with darkening of color or pitting. I carefully have measured both pans for anyone wanting to know the EXACT measurements of the INTERIOR space of the pans (just inside the heavy duty pan edging), both pans measure exactly the same and they are 8 3/4 inches x 12 1/8 inches. They are probably called 9 x 13 inch pans because of the edging on the pans being included in the measurements. Love these pans and this particular set would make a wonderful gift!

This is not a true 9x13" pan. It's smaller than all my other 9x13 inch pans, measuring approx 12.6 x 9

Very well made product. Great for baking lazania or small cakes. My husband uses it on occasion to cleanpaint brushes. So easy to clean up afterwards/

These are excellent baking pans. High-quality,, and bake with great results. I had purchased one years ago though, and the lids are now VERY FLIMSY. If you are not very careful, it will get cracked easily. A few things worth noting about these pans:1) Do not cook tomato/acidic foods in them - eventually it will eat through the pan. That is what happened to my old cake pan - developed a pin size hole from corrosion.2. Do not put them in the dishwasher. The detergent will oxidize them and make them ugly. Still safe to use - but ugly.Would recommend the metal pans - just be aware of the thin lid.

Love the size and the cover. It's sturdy and very practical. But don't machine wash it, it will take the shine away and you will end up with dull grayish looking surface.

長年愛用しています。深い方はケーキの型やラザニアの他、大きめのパン生地のベンチタイムに使っています。浅い方は小型ロールやベーグルのベンチや成形発酵に使っています。浅い方を深い方に入れて2段で使えます。餃子やハンバーグをたくさん作って2段重ねで冷蔵庫に入れておけるのがとても便利なのですが、蓋の密閉度がいまいちなので蓋をかぶせる前にラップが必要です。蓋の密閉性がいまいちなのと食洗機で洗えないので★を1つ減らしました(アルミなので食洗機で洗うと変色します)。商品写真2枚目にあるスクエア(正方形)は含まれていません。長方形の深・浅2つと蓋の3点セットです。

Leider kriegt es Flecken nach dem braten und erst recht nach dem waschen in der Maschine. Ich hätte die Beschreibung besser lesen sollen! Aluminium Kratzer vom normalen Teller Schwamm die irgendwie auch in dem Essen kommen müssen oder? Die Massen sind perfekt. Waschen mit der Hand.

You can't get the deeper baking pans in NZ and it was better value getting both the cookie sheet and the deeper brownie tin in the 3 bundle deal. I've made 2 Cakes and one slice and it was great to be able to put on the lid and store in fridge and then transport them later. No need for extra clingfilm or Tupperware container. The lid isn't very tight fitting so you have to be careful to support your previous baking when transporting around.

I was surprised when I opened this box on how small these pans were. Upon measuring and seeing the measurements on the package, it became clear my eyes weren't deceiving me."Pan exterior dimensions 13.5 x 9.75 x 3.63 inches and interior dimensions 13 x 9 inch Cake Pan and Quarter Sheet"Dimensions on package- Cake Pan 12.625 x 9 x 0.875 inch- Quarter sheet pan: 11.35 x 8 x 1 inchIn addition to this there's a chunk of the rim that's been scratched off it looks like. Doesn't display well in the picture but it's very noticeable. While cosmetic, this is a disappointment. Also deducted 1 star for the logo in the pan which may leave an imprint in some foods. If they want a logo, it could easily fit on the outside.Product looks in otherwise decent condition, but it wont fit the rack I bought for it.
