I received what I was promised
Fantastic game! It came brand new as promised and there have been no problems and no signs of it being a counterfeit game.

The weather system in this game sucks. You can over-water your crops.
At least I can finally say I beat this game and it's a Harvest Moon game. But this is the second worst Harvest Moon game I've ever played, because if you water certain crops too much or not enough, they all die. I didn't have a problem until fall where all of my Sweet Potatoes died. It says they need " less " water, but it should've said, " Water every OTHER day. " I didn't pay attention to " less " because no Harvest Moon game was ever picky about how much you watered a crop before! I play these games while listening to videos as background noise, I do not want to have to remember " only water these crops on even-numbered days, " or don't. Maybe if the game was more clear from the start what Less meant, I'd have gotten used to the watering having actual challenge to it for once beyond " be careful where you plant seeds. "Also the tool upgrade system is garbage. Why can't I permanently fully upgrade all of my tools by getting ores to the blacksmith like in the good games? Instead I have to go to this kid to tediously put Wonderfuls on a tool one at a time, and take them off sometimes to put them on other tools, and there's somehow a LIMIT to how many you can put on a tool and you have to sell your original tools to get tools that CAN be upgraded. I went until the Fall only able to water two thirds of a 9 X 9 square of crops. So it took forever to water all my crops. Then all my Sweet Potatoes died, and I gave up and used an Action Replay to get tons of Wonderfuls to make the game playable. The game should've told me, " Win the festivals and you'll get more Wonderfuls! Even losing them gives you Wonderful Pieces! " Then I'd have entered them all instead of mostly ignoring them because my crops and dairy products were low rank at first. Even THEN, why is it that the color Wonderful you win is RANDOM? So you might get one that's worthless. And like with the weather you can't reload the file to get a better result for that either, the color Wonderful is predetermined a day in advance. There is a great improvement to ranching in the sense that you can walk right through eggs and chickens, and put food in extra fodder bins. It's still unacceptable that you can't do anything to make it so that it never has a typhoon or blizzard, like in FoMT. So that's another thing I have to cheat to get rid of. Ranching takes even longer than ever because you're forced to use an overly long touchscreen mini-game that's boring and doesn't even feel like you're milking or shearing, unless you think to push two cows or sheep so that they occupy the same space and charge up to milk or shear them both, which I took forever to think of, AND, because you stop in place every time you talk to an animal, and because the animals have stress meters, you are FORCED to at least brush them every day and pick up the Silkie chickens every day.Mining is as dragged out and tedious as in Harvest Moon DS but without the monsters, at least, because you can fall in random holes and then lose all your stamina. Oh, but it's cool that you can charge up a hammer to get more ores if you have a certain Wonderful equipped. Fishing is completely unplayable because you wait around bored and then have to instantly think to press the button when it suddenly tells you to reel in, so you'll only reel in successfully a third of the time, and you're forced to successfully fish a TON of times for a really long time to get your fishing rod to catch big fish. At first you'll just catch garbage! Harvest Moon 2 had a fantastic fishing system. WHY can't you put Wonderfuls on Fishing Rods too?! I still haven't fully upgraded it because it's so tedious and time-wasting to fish and I'm several years into the game and married. The game never tells you that you have to unlock the Mystic Islands to get married either. Good luck getting enough Sun Stones without a guide. Some of them are only found by pressing A in the overworld, but they're invisible for no reason. Also I didn't do anything to woo my bachelorette until months later because the game never told me that you have to talk to someone five days in a row to make them accept a gift they like from you, so I thought she hated the gift. So this is when that horrible system starts in this franchise.Oh yeah. The game crashed twice when I got the cutscene for getting all the Sun Stones. But I don't know if that was because I used codes recently or not. It worked fine when I wasn't using codes. Nothing against the person who sold this game to me. I'm just used to FoMT, DS, and Magical Melody which were actually good. Even Harvest Moon 1 on the Game Boy is fantastic compared to this game. It's playable. But don't play it when there are better games. You'll never get enough money to afford the Quality Improver. It already took me an entire season at max profits to afford one new Sun for the greenhouse and that is even more expensive.

Busy Work
I love the Harvest Moon series and this game did not disappoint in the sheer enormity of stuff you have to grow and do, however, the friendship part is just grueling. You have to go talk to everyone on the stinking island every couple days just to acquire Sun Stones to raise islands and advance the game. The NPC's RARELY say anything different, and you find yourself wanting to hit them with your giant hammer.
