It works as it is supposed to, but if you are buying for Rooms To Go furniture, it may not work due to the little knobby bits that hold the locker in place. Sadly, the unit on our sofa is too deep inside the back and those little nubs prevent it from being able to plug inside. However, this works great for Ashley's furniture hence the review of 5 stars even though we are unable to use it at this time. Just make sure whatever you want it for is compatible - sadly we didn't have the furniture yet when we bought it - we were trying to be proactive and it bit us in the butt ;)

I got tired of waiting months to have my electric sofa power uinit replaced so i did it myself. I replaced the motor with an amazon unit and this product to connect the power to different sofa connectors. it was very easy, i advise anyone needing to repair reclining sofas to watch some youtube videos and do it yourself.
