Does this work good on slate boards?

Will these erase off of a wall that has been painted with chalkboard paint?

Can these be used on something that's been painted with acrylic paint? I'm repurposing cat litter buckets.

I recently painted a wooden box with spray paint and the chalk markers worked great on that surface. Ive also wrote on surfaces painted with chalkboard paint. These pens have been pretty versatile and compatible with various surfaces, paint types, etc.
