Kinda put the cart before the horse. Bought the food, but haven't yet gotten the two Clowns. The way things are going, guess that will be in January 2018. Haven't opened the sealed bag, packaging says lifespan 3-4 months, so no point in spoiling it, but have to say, the quantity is more than I expected. Might take two years to empty it on two Clowns. Will probably have to vacuum seal it in order to extend its shelf life for that long. Update, December 2018. One of the clowns didn't survive the flight from Miami, so just feeding one. Have so far used up less than a third of a teaspoon of these pellets, so at this rate should last about 15 years, as long as they are not exposed to air. Will turn to dust in no time if they are. To be fair, also feeding flakes, so make that 30 years.

This food is pretty well made and my fish keep their colors and seem healthy. The plus size is this is good for goldfish and even butterfly fish. I bought the medium size before and half of my tank couldn't eat it but the small is perfect

My fish LOVE this food! I mix up what I give them but my purple dotty back loves this stuff the most. It knows when I've put this food in or other pellets & will nail this as it's falling or pick it off the sandbed. Even the serpent starfish will climb out of the hiding places when this food is put in. Must be yummy!

Only pellets I buy. They sink quickly which I like.
