SECOND UPDATE: I have packaged up all lights in a box and returning to Amazon since that's the only way I'll seemingly receive any satisfaction for these defective lights and one electrician said they aren't even safe with that much leakage into each bulb area. A $20 refund offer from the seller on a $59.99 item is not acceptable.UPDATE: Finally heard from seller who offered a $20 refund or return item to Amazon. Remember, I have no packing materials to safely return these lights. I countered at $30 which is half of the cost and he said "no". I finally agreed that $20 was better than gathering up the mess to return to Amazon but I still haven't heard back from the seller about the $20. FRUSTRATING! My original review: I was thrilled with these lights after they were hung on our deck the weekend after Thanksgiving. There were many compliments from neighbors and I enjoyed not having bulbs burn out and needing replacement during winter weather. Note: we do not live in an area with snow storms, etc. Our winters are reasonably mild compared to much of the USA. When I went out on Jan 2 to take the lights down and store them for the year, I was shocked to find each light bulb filled with a rusty brown color. Mind you, each and every light bulb on the string had filled with brown "something". Not just a random bulb here and there. At the price these are if they looked close to new after only 4 weeks of use, I wouldn't say a word but this is ridiculous to have the disgusting brown "whatever" inside each bulb as if they were years old rather than 4 weeks. I contacted the seller and have heard nothing. I was so pleased at first that the packaging has been disposed of so how do I return them and it's past the 30 day return period anyway? NOT HAPPY with what happened to the item and very unhappy with no response from the seller.

Lights are Bright. No remote in either box, just the button on the plug. I bought these because one of the photos showed that the hanging lights were zip ties to stay vertical. None were tied, so I spent ten hours and an extra $20.00 to zip tie them all myself. I like the lights, but I will not trust the photos that are shown of items for sale. That's why I prefer to see the actual items in a store before buying online. If I had known that these were bulbs were not zip tied I would have purchased two different sets. Returns take forever and one never knows if money will be returned.

These are coming off greenish, pretty disappointed. I was so excited about these lights and have always been weary of LED due to color, they either come off as blue or yellow... And here I am with green 🤦

I was replacing an old set of icicle lights on my house. They were the old style and it took 6 strings to span the width of my house. These are a definite step up being LED and having 8 patterns to chose from. They also came with 2 strings of lights spanning the 62 foot width of my house. They use a lot less power being LED, are bright and also the controller has a built in timer that if activated has a 6 hr. on / 18 hr. off. I liked being able to chose different modes during the holidays just to change up the look. The only reason I gave the controller a 4 star review is these lights come with no instructions on how to activate/deactivate the timer mode and it wasn't necessarily intuitive. Once I figured it out it was fine. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to save money on their power bill and have the long life span of LED vs incandescent lights.

These lights are great - I was originally worried that they would be too difficult to see at night being very small LEDs, but they are actually quite visible way down the street! (See picture, it's hard to see the orange lights compared to the purple but they are very apparent in person)I put these along our gutters and some nails at the peak of our roof, they would also look great along a fence or below windows. Frankly these are great for people like me who won't want to change lights for Halloween and Christmas. The only con is that, based on how difficult it was to unravel originally due to them getting wrapped together, I can tell they will be very difficult to wrap back up when the winter season is over. Wrapping them around a cardboard box insert might work well.Overall it's a great product that I plan to get full use out of by keeping up for both Halloween and Christmas.

They lights are actually very nice, as long as you do not put them where there will be a lot of wind. I placed them on my home and within the first week, they were up on the roof and in the gutter. I have pulled them down three times, I give up. If they were heavier, maybe it would not be an issue. And since these are light weight and small gage wire, I can not speak for the longevity of these lights, but truthfully, I never expect much from any of the lights I have bought before. But, if wind isn't a concern, then these lights are really awesome. They look great, hang well, and the options for light flashing sequence work and look nice. For me, it looks like I will be going with rope lighting on the eaves next year.

I was sketchy about buying these but compared to buying like 3-4 boxes just to put around the house it was going be way cheaper. One box covered more than half of the front of my house and the LED white/blues looked very nice. I used to have projectors LED lights but wanted to switch up to something different and glad I bought these lights. As far as right now there worth the money.

These are as beautiful as I could imagine. I wish I would have got these during the holiday season. I kept thinking abbout it but when I got a good deal, I ordered it. My daughter and my wife loves how our front yard looks with these lights. I have connected these to wifi plug with automatic timings to make it consume less power but since these are LEDs they consume even lesser power.
