These give off just enough light at night Yet allot easier on The Electric Bill each month - Swapped Out all places that took 40 - 60 Watt Bulbs with these Gems.

Not ugly like the curly lights and 1/3 the energy
Even at .25KWH it could be on 24/7 and be under 1 dollar a month.Very small. I thought they would not fit the socket but they did and fit everywhere else because of their size.Not ugly like the curly lights and 1/3 the energy. Use on porch, laundry, appliances, range hood exhaust, multi-bulb lamps.Not the lights for everywhere like the daylight bulbs but I just bought another 3 sets (24 more)Just got them and can not say if they will last as advertised and will update id they fail before 3 years full time life expectancy.

great for where I intended them to be installed
Very compact, great for where I intended them to be installed. Unfortunately, 1 out of 4 arrived broken, so cannot give 5 stars.

1,200 - 1,500 hour lifespan, not the +20,000 advertised
The wavelength is as advertised, and low wattage, so energy-saving and appropriate for a close-up plant lighting situation like mine. These are not strong enough to light up a large area, though. My biggest problem is that - based on the first TWO bulbs used - their lifespan is FAR below what is advertised. I had the first bulb on a timer for 7 hours a day since January 2018 and it burned out in July (~210 days)... a lifespan of ~1,470 hours, not the +20,000 advertised. At $3 a bulb, that changes the economics a lot. I used the second bulb in a desk lamp about 8-10 hours a day. That one just burned out after 4 months of use. I bought these from Night Blazers in October 2017. Updated November 2018.
