Larger than the average outlet. In the photo, these are a light-colored wood and this is an accurate depiction, but when I installed them, their color darkened quite a bit because they were no longer up to the light. Attaching photo so you can see what I mean. They're cut well but since they're wood, they're bound to have little nicks and shavings so I hand-sanded them a little (easy to do). They come with tiny brown screws so if you need screws longer than .25 inch, you may have to make a trip to the hardware store. Make sure you look at your outlets and get the right type; I made the mistake of getting too many of these when some of my outlets don't have one screw in the middle (they have two -top and bottom). If you decide to paint them, make sure to sand them first by hand and use a small roller to apply the paint. If you use a brush or a squeegie, the paint will build up or leave marks. If you are creative and want a DIY lightswitch, this is an excellent base to add clay to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ high quality *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2021* I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these were, and how reasonably they were priced. We tiled and were left with problem outlets. The back of these covers have a metal plate, and that worked really well for us, and made our problem outlets look great. I did not even have to sand these, they took spray paint like a dream. Thanks for the great service. ### ⭐⭐⭐ would have been nice if they were sanded and ready to be finished *by N***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2017* would have been nice if they were sanded and ready to be finished, but be aware that you will need to finish sand these before use. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37921095-franklin-brass-wood-square-3-pack-outlet-covers-unfinished-wood](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37921095-franklin-brass-wood-square-3-pack-outlet-covers-unfinished-wood) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
