I'm an amateur music producer. These work great for me.
I haven't had any problems with these. I use these for producing my own music with Ableton (guitars, bass, midi). They sound great to me. They get louder than I need them to go. I can't turn them all the way up and sit in front of them mixing and recording music. They do enter a rest mode when you don't use them for a long time. It takes less than a second for them to kick back on though. They never rest when I'm producing music. Only when no sound has gone through them for a while and again they come back on in under a second. If these were your concerns I recommend buy them. Pros: Loud Included wires They look nice 5" speakers Anytime I go to a concert the DJs are using pioneer equipment. 🤷♂️😅 Cons: I wish the power switch was on the front and not the back, but it's a matter of preference and not really much of an inconvenience. They're a little more expensive but I don't have to live with the fear of missing out after buying cheaper 3.5" PreSonus speakers.

Great speakers. I’m a bit of an OCD. So having pioneer speakers to match my DJ rev1 is a perfect fit. I’ve heard better audio quality but these are certainly not bad by any measure. I threw a house party and got the police called on me so they can get loud.

speakers died 3 years in.
I bought these 3 years ago. It's been a while, but for the price you'd expect them to last longer. Over the past 2 weeks they've taken longer and longer to wake up from standby mode. Today they won't wake up anymore. Why do they have this mode you can't disable? I would not recommend these speakers, you'd expect for something with this price tag to last longer but I guess not.
