I can't believe the other negative reviews of these reflective trims! I got a 6 pack of these today and they are all fantastic. They fit up tight against my ceiling, or as close as possible since I have a popcorn ceiling in my office. There isn't much to these, there is the smooth aluminum reflective insert that holds the separate white metal ring over the lip of the can housing, covering the drywall edge. They look super clean and professional. Right now I am using these in my office but will try them out at home in my kitchen as well.

Annoying to install but they look amazing. They give a very bright light, I am using the normal gen 3 hue bulbs not the Hue downlights only bc I already had a bunch of the regular ones and wanted something that would be reflective for a normal Hue bulb and this did the trick. Also bc of the reflective properties you can’t tell I have regular bulbs installed when at full brightness. They are just as bright as a downlight would be with this trim and the trim looks great against a white ceiling. Recommended.

Installed easily, springs could be a little stronger to better compress the foam more on the top of the lip to be a bit more flush with the ceiling.Overall they look great. The edges are sharp, didn't bother me much (rough hands), watch out if you have soft hands that don't do physical work much as you may get cut easily.

Extremely happy with these trim peices. Metal ring with a very high quality plastic reflectors. They look great, and have a very tight seal (especially with the included gasket. The only thing that could be better is higher quality springs to hold the peice into the housing, but they are fair from bad quality and do a fantastic job.

Plastic edge is large enough to cover over nasty cut marks! This was most important for me as my ceiling is old and the cuts were not done by me. They were a bit over-sized. These rings are slightly larger than my old ones which is perfect! The reflectors are nice and shiny too. Springs were "not a breeze" to install because they are tight, but that's what you want. Also, glad these had the foam ring to hold back some attic dirt. Mine looked great - see photo.

They are inexpensive and do the job in a very economical situation like a basement playroom instead of those glaring led recessed disks that are getting slammed in everywhere. They prevent side glare when the bulb is tucked higher in the can.They were packed well and compact to save space with no damage.What I didn't like is that they have sharp edges probably from the lower cost manufacturing factor.

These look great, you may need to cut the spring a bit and creat a new hook but other than that these look amazing!

Cans with led spotlights look fantastic. The edges are a little sharp... Leadind to a few cuts and scrapes while installing.
