Finally, these are the answer to those who need extra protection in a diaper and when bladder pads aren't enough extra protection applied inside a depends. These particular Tranquilities are long and very absorbent. The only thing I would add is a strip of adhesive because they are long and wide and do shift when you put both the depends and Tranquility on together. If you have mobility issues, you will have more trouble getting it settled where/how you need it inside of a depends. Even if the company added a little adhesive to the front and back wings, it would help a lot.

If you have heavy urine leakage and already use a diaper, there may be times when that is not enough. Long trips or overnight you may need more padding and absorbancy to prevent embarrasing leaks. A booster pad is the answer. These booster pads are hourglass shaped just like the padding of a standard tape-on diaper. They do not have a plastic backing, so they must be used with a diaper or disposable absorbant underwear. They fill to capacity then allow urine to pass through into the padding of the diaper or underwear they are worn inside. They do not have an adhesive tape to hold them down, but this makes them easier to change out without untaping the host diaper. They can be folded to place the extra padding right where you need it. I sleep on my stomach, so I keep them folded up so all of the padding is in the front of the diaper to triple up the absorbancy. If you sleep on your back, you can do the opposite. They can also be folded along the length to fit between the leakguards for daytime when you need all around extra absorbancy. These booster pads add an extra 13.6 oz of absorbancy. They work great for me with Tranquility ATN diapers. I highly recommend this product for anytime you need extra security.UPDATE: Im now using these for their original purpose: managing bowel incontinence. They work well to contain stool and make cleanup less of a hassle. They allow you to just change out the pad if its formed stool and continue wearing the diaper. They also work well for looser stool, although they do allow the liquid to pass through into the diaper below, so you will need to change both the pad and the diaper. I continue to use these with Tranquilty ATN adult diapers. The combination makes managing bladder and bowel leaks easier and more comfortable.

We were washing bedding 5 or more times a week, because our 3-yr old routinely drowned even size 6 Huggies Overnite diapers. These pads have put a stop to the overflow and wet bedding. They absorb and hold a large volume of fluid while allowing the diaper to absorb its usual load of fluid. Our child is now 4 and still waking up with a dry bed (and a very heavy, soggy diaper/pad combo).That said, I understand how other reviewers have had disappointing results. I had inconsistent results until I learned how to place the pad correctly. Correct placement might not be possible for small diaper sizes (though at least one reviewer reports good results using the pads on a 1-yr old).To place the pad correctly, first note how a diaper keeps wetness contained. The absorbent portion is inside a waterproof shell with a waistband and elastic leg openings. The waistband and elastic openings hold the edges of the diaper against the skin to prevent the wet part of the diaper from coming into contact with sleepwear or bedding.The pad is like the absorbent portion of the diaper, and relies on the diaper's shell to keep the wet pad isolated. You need to place the pad so that it rests only on the absorbent area of the diaper and doesn't extend into the waistband or the elastic areas on the side. Even the ends of the pad's white "envelope", which extend about an inch beyond each end of the pad, must be kept on the absorbent areas of the diaper.An improperly placed pad will either extend beyond the edge of the diaper, allowing the fluid to wick into sleepwear and bedding, or will expand as it gets wet and thus lift the edge of the diaper and allow bedding and sleepwear to contact wet areas.My initial tendency was to place as much of the pad as I could toward the front of the diaper, thinking that I needed to have maximum pad area where the urine is produced. I was placing the top of the pad near the top of the waistband. This only cut the wet bed mornings in half.No such fine tuning is necessary or helpful, as fluid will spread throughout the entire pad. The Topliners really keep a person dry they are great 👍. There's no feeling of being wet

These pads have no adhesive strip and so do not stay in place. Will not buy again.

Best product these worked great in a pull up diaper kept everything contained most times and the pull up stayed clean and could be reused and only replace the booster highly recommend noteI added tight underwear plus and tight fitted boy short to hold everything tight so nothing could move worked fabulous

Really like these - they aren’t too bulky and they do the job for overnight kiddo diaper absorbency.

These were very absorbent and handy to insert inside diaper as the diapers were very expensive. Used for an ovarian cancer patient.
