GORILLA Heavy Duty Duct Tape, Black, 1.88" x 50 yd, 1-Pack

This tape is amazing! I used it to reinforce some landscape lighting stakes that had split. It is very sticky and strong. The roll was a nice size. I can see this being useful to have on hand.

The greatest tape ever in a roll the size of the knife Crocodile Dundee carried in New York. It's enough for a dozen Apollo 13 moon missions.

Really strong adhesive that should stand the test of time. Way better than the standard duct tape!

This tape is incredible. The material is very tough and durable and it sticks like crazy to a not very clean surface through direct sun and rain. And I mean for a long, long time. Some guy got in a fight with his girl friend, so he stopped, jumped out, went over to the nearest parked car (my wife's), got up on top and threw a tantrum jumping up and down on her glass sunroof which smashed it to pieces. No indoor parking spot and rain was coming. I freaked. Put some plastic tarp over the glass, used a lot of ductape and hoped for the best. In the morning, little rain but the ductape had completely come unglued. A neighbor lent me some of his Black Gorilla tape. I taped everything back in place on a slightly moist and pretty dirty surface and I didn't use much. Then the real rain came for several days. The Gorilla tape didn't give at all! Out of curiosity I tried peeling it back on one corner, but it was still there to stay, not going anywhere. It was out there for at least 6 mos through every kind of weather until I found the right glass. Now I peeled it off, but it was in no way ready to just come off -- it still held very, very tight as if I'd just taped it down. I buy it from Amazon now and consider it a 'must have' around the house, car, etc. If you need something very durable that will really hold, this is it. Incredible tape!

It's just great duct tape. It's the only brand I buy. It hates separation. It has separation anxiety and simply will not let go. Does it cost more? Of course. I don't know what quantities contractors can afford, not my industry, but for home use for the times you need duct tape it's worth every penny. I put it on and just forget that I put it on. Maybe NASA has some better stuff but I don't work there.

WOW does this stuff grip! Duct tape is a must in our home because it's so versatile -- we use it for everything it seems. I like the black color, as it disappears for the most part. It's super thick but can be ripped without scissors if you grab it correctly. I don't bother with the other brands we have in favor of tracking down the Gorilla. And let's face it, Gorilla is a pretty reliable brand anyway. Win Win!

Super strong

This tape is strong and holds things together where needed. I have used this type of tape on everything from garbage and recycle containers, and for keeping large air conditioner hoses in place. I like this tape type and brand for the types of things I've needed it for.
