I have been using the product for many years.

Bought two pair of socks for $29.80. Have only worn one thus far. It was defective (a big, obvious hole at the ankle seam) and wasn't wearable without being repaired or replaced. I emailed MEDLIFE late at night and, within 10 minutes, got a non-automated reply from Alex saying send them back and they would have Jobst, the manufacturer, replace them. Ten days or so later, I got a call from someone saying I need to pay $5.95 to have the new ones sent out. I sent another email to MEDLIFE tonight (about 10:00pm in Chicago where Alex is) basically saying, "That sucks." Again, within 10 minutes I got a response! This time a call from Alex saying that the $5.95 is obviously a mistake. He wasn't even aware I had been called. He said they don't charge customers to have replacement product sent to them. I don't know when this Alex guy sleeps, but I'm glad he's there when I need him. I rarely find defects in anything I buy and the true test of a retailer is in those rare occasions. The only way this could have been a better transaction would be if (a) the product hadn't been defective in the first place or (b) if MEDLIFE or Jobst had covered the product return postage, but it was only three bucks or so and was no big deal. Now, Alex, get some sleep!
