Filexec Products Art Presentation Book, 9"x12", 24Page/48 Views (93130),Black

My son is currently obsessed with those drawing tutorial on Youtube that teaches kids how to draw, Pokemons, super heros, Disney characters, etc. Awesome, right? Yes! One negative side effect, tons and tons of art works, on the walls, on the table, everywhere! So finally I had to search on Amazon to find a portfolio to try to get this madness under control. I just picked this one, which is the cheapest one I found with lots of pages and big enough to hold his larger than normal paper size. And WOW! very impressed by the quality. The cover is thick, lots of pages to hold 48 sheets of art work, so after I was admiring the portfolio (his art work but mostly how neatly organized they are in the portfolio lol), I thought about all his art work from preschool and kinder. If you have a kid in preschool or elementary school, you will know (or remember) how many art projects they bring home. We collected boxes and boxes of art works from preschool and kinder and they are all boxed up hiding in the closet. So I had to order another one, to try to sort through all his art work from kinder to put them in one portfolio. So now I have this huuuuge binder of all his kinder art work (and that's only the ones I kept), there were just so many, but the portfolio expand really well, and all you really need is a large rubber band to keep it close. I think it's a perfect way to organize all these art work (cheap solution, other than throwing them in the trash) .... even though we or he might never want to take a look at it ever again. I am probably going to order another 5 or 6 just so I can start organizing all the preschool ones and have one for every grade or year.

The quality of this portfolio is actually way better the the one I bought at micheals for twice the price and for waaaay cheaper. It fits my 9x12 paper perfectly. The functionality of the plastic sleeves is good, it doesn’t split like some I’ve had in the past. Stores a lot of pages. Has photo album quality so it presents pieces nicely

Anyone who gives these anything less than five stars that has purchased them has not been to Michaels or Hobby lobby. Check out the prices for them and the quality and I promise you will be very pleased with these. I purchased a 9x12 and an 11x14 and my artwork fits perfectly. There is even a black sheet in each cellophane to block out your work from showing through on the next page. Even on the very first page the portfolio opens fully without it snapping back at you. Hands down great price, great product and great purchase!

I like that the cover has rounded edges and fabric trim - doesn't seem cheap. The only thing I dislike is that the 9x12 watercolor paper sheets I'm putting in it move all over the place. The plastic insert pages are quite a bit bigger than 9x12, so your artwork swims around like 1/4" to 1/2" in each direction. I wish the pages were snug. Not really "artist" quality.. more like, keep this student artwork or draft ideas nice and protected.

This presentation book is perfect to store all my 6x6, 8x8, and 9x12 stencils. I purchased it because it was significantly lower in cost than the Itoya ones, and I figured for storage it would be fine, but I was seriously surprised at the quality. Next time I actually need a presentation book to store my finished artworks in, I definitely will be purchasing this brand- really nice quality. I especially like the black plastic sheet inserts- they make sliding things in and out so much easier, which means the plastic sleeves don't get caught up and wrinkled. I also love the trim around the edge of the outside of the book. Really surprised at the quality and I highly recommend these.

Recently got into gouache painting on water color paper 9x12. I had no place to put them. I searched and filexec came up with the right price - 24 pages with a black plastic sheet dividing the sleeve to fit two sheets The only thing is if you are storing/displaying non rigid sheets of paper may not have the proper “hardback” support you may need. I am storing canson water color paper so it’s more of a card stock so that won’t be an issue. My issue is should I save my bad art? Edit I think the only con is that it can slip out of the sleeve but I just put a piece of tape to prevent that.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I didn't buy it for art work, but instead to keep my stencil collection in. I needed a place to put them to keep them in order, and make it convenient to look for the ones I want. This serves that purpose perfectly. I bought two, so I may use the other one for art pages. The book is sturdily put-together, and a good value for the money, I would buy this brand again if I need another one.

Does what it is described and designed to do. Good quality. Great protection. Good color. Perfect size. Light weight.
