This brush is great. My cat loves it. The pushbutton cleaning works like a charm. No more flying cat hair when I pet her.

Love this brush! All the animals love this brush. They haven't liked the ones without the bristle caps on them, but maybe I just don't know how to brush with the other type of slicker brush. I was able to easily comb through the fur on a kinky haired bernedoodle (2 passes, one to go over the top and one to go through the rest of the way), a medium hair siamese (double coat), a British short hair/Scottish fold mix (double coat), a manx (rarely sheds), a long hair flame point siamese (long hair, double coat), and a wavy haired bernedoodle (one pass all the way through). Why 4 stars if this works so well and everyone loves it? As with a lot of inexpensive slicker brushes, the bristles have started to bend, but this is also what helps reduce painful pulling on mats. The limber bristles bend to keep from getting stuck, but it also reduces the life of the brush. Cleaning the brush is fairly easy, but once the bristles bend enough, it will likely become more bothersome. Would/will absolutely buy it again.

This brush is a game-changer for my cats. The rounded edge makes it much easier to get between the front legs and the belly. It is not rough, and it holds the hair until you are ready to release it with great ease. I love it!

The brush pulls a significant amount of hair, and the mechanism to release the hair is easy to use. But the points of the brush feel hard. My cat doesn't love the feel of the brush, and I'm overly aware of the feel of the brush against my cat's bony parts even though he's not a skinny boy. I feel like I have to take precautions to be overly gentle when using the brush. But the worst thing about this product is the packaging and the way Amazon is contributing to the terrible erosion of basic English language. The instructions and on the back are so poorly translated. I'm not a person who works overly hard to not buy foreign products. But the English on this packaging is below the minimum standards of acceptability.

I ordered this on a whim because I was looking for a new brush for my cat. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not. Turns out she loves it she goes bonkers for it every time I take the brush out. She actually stands still and let me brush her. I only wish I would've gotten it sooner for her.

My cats have very thick coats, this brush gets right down into coats to pull the hair and knots out gently
