These bins are the perfect size. I also bought the basket, which are a little too large in my opinion. The quality seems good. After I bought the first one, I purchased several more. You can't have empty wall space when it can be used for more storage right?

I have tons of the FastTrack accessories. The shelf is amazing because it's so easy to move around to other rails if I need to reorganize. My only issue with the whole system is the price. Everything is overpriced. It's great for organization, but I recommend waiting for sales before buying any of it.

I have purchased at least eight of these for my garage storage system and they all work great. Easy to store and separate all your tools and supplies.

This review is for the "overall" FastTrack system. However, the baskets are a great piece of the overall FastTrack system to have. The FastTrack system is easy to install as it comes with anchors for either studs or drywall. It looks good in a garage and the various hooks and baskets are varied and ample. The only downside is sometimes the attachments will come off when you remove whatever is handing from them. I use the FastTrack system as a supplement to RubberMaid shelving units, both regular and heavy duty.

The Rubbermaid 24-inch metal mesh basket, designed to hang on the FastTrack wall-mountable system, is an outstanding addition to the Rubbermaid accessory line.Pros:Sturdy construction, holds up to 50lbs of internal weight, locks tightly onto the FastTrack rail, tapered design allows for easier access to items in the basket, and its visual stylization matches perfectly with all other FastTrack accessories.Cons:No cons for its fit and functionality. Couple things could be reconsidered for future design: 1 - this product ships in a HUGE box and it does catch the attention of passerby's while its sitting on your front porch and 2 - the locking mechanisms are not mounted onto the basket itself: instructions are included to self-mount the basket to the locks and subsequently the rails (it can be easy to mount it incorrectly, so read the instructions closely and examine the included photos).Overall:We will be purchasing additional 24-inch mesh baskets for our FastTrack rail system. They currently hold all of our gardening supplies. Neighbors, family, & friends have ALL asked "Where can I purchase those baskets for my FastTrack? They are so helpful for storage!". The baskets are often difficult to locate in stores and sometimes overpriced -- we've ordered multiple FastTrack accessories here, on Amazon, and had no issue with price comparison, product condition, or shipping times.

Our household is big on recycling. For years we had a metal shelving unit in the garage, filled with paper grocery bags that contained our items to be recycled. It was always a mess. Bags tearing, falling over, etc. It was also impossible to see at a glance what was in the bags. I read about this product on the web and set about looking for a merchant.It seems that Amazon is the only vendor that carries everything I wanted. I checked our local Home Depot, Lowes and Menard's. Nobody carried these baskets. I picked up the rails at Menard's (slightly cheaper than Amazon) and ordered the baskets from Amazon.At any rate, I spent a couple hours out in the cold, cold (did I mention cold?) garage and mounted three rails on the wall and hung the baskets. My wife is as thrilled as I am. We can easily see where to put like items. Every couple weeks, we pop them off the wall, put them in the car and run them to our local recycling center. The handles make them easy to empty and they look so much more organized on the wall than the shelf and paper bags. So far they seem more than sturdy enough for anything we throw in there (cans, bottles, newspapers, junk mail, magazines, etc). Overall, a good buy.

This is described as a mesh basket but depicted as a wire basket. So, what do you get? I got a wire basket which is fine with me since I really did not care what type it was but I just needed a basket. I love the FastTrack system and have many of the attachments including a Rubbermaid mesh basket which I purchased at Lowes. I have a wire basket from Lowes as well but needed another one and did not feel like making a trip to Lowes when Amazon delivers right to my door.This is a sturdy basket which I use to store various garden hose parts and attachments. It is two feet long, a foot wide and about eight and a half inches deep. It holds a lot of stuff.FYI, the basket comes with an instruction sheet which refers to it as a wire basket. On the basket itself is a label which also calls it a wire basket. If you are in need of a mesh basket you will need to look elsewhere.
