Your kid will need long fingers
I bought these for my eight-year-old granddaughter and she’s actually pretty tall for her age. The gloves fit really nice except the fingertips were about a half inch too long. Very disappointed.

The size is correct and I know our Great-granddaughter will love the purple color.

Slightly smaller than expected.
Ordered the XL for 11 year old ( the size indicates XL -12-14 years old) anticipating that gloves might be snug. They fit just right. The velcro doesn't look that well made, only time will tell after several washes.
