Perfect for small craft/paper hobby work. The clamp is not always 90°.

I was in dire need of a good paper cutting device I had two paper trimmers already, but was having to measure things out precisely, then do the cutting almost on a sheet by sheet basis. After purchasing this cutter, I was immediately relieved of my frustration of moving at such a slow pace. The only thing that didn't work out well for me with this cutter was that the only assembly required was putting a small little screw into the handle to keep it in place. The screw came already in the handle, it was just a matter of sliding the handle grip onto the handle and screwing it in place; the screw wouldn't come out the other end. I fought with it for about half an hour before rigging it McGuyver-style in order for me to have a handle on the cutter. It works great as if the screw had fit in perfectly. I know how to screw in a screw, and there was something either wrong with the screw or the hole, but it just didn't work. The blade is super sharp and works awesomely! I can't imagine what my project would've been like if I had bought this awesome cutter!

Compact, easy to adjust and very sharp

This paper cutter weighs less than a pound, stores easily in the smallest space and cuts beautifully. I highly recommend it. The price is right. Don't let the plastic scare you away. Working in the graphic arts field, I've used many different cutters., from Xacto knives to cumbersome Wood and steel cutters - this little dude is now an important member of the cadre of tools available at my desk.
