Weltonhm Mandoline Slicer for Kitchen, Mandolin and Julienne for Vegetables

I can personally attest to the effectiveness of the blade. Foolishly, I did not use the gloves and within the first two minutes of use we were on the way to the ER. I have no experience using one of these, which is literally and painfully obvious, so I cannot speak to its safety features, or lack there of as compared to other mandolins, but I highly recommend using the gloves. I will update my review after they sew my finger tip back on and I give it another shot when I am brave enough. 🤷‍♂️

Mandoline does what it's supposed to do. I find it scary, just like every other sharp blade I encounter, but I use it with safety gloves and I've been able to survive. It is sharp and seems sturdy. Hopefully, it's durable and will last.

This product is not useful for me. It will not perform slicing items that are slimmer than a potato or cucumber. I want to julienne zucchini and carrots but have failed in many attempts to do this because the way the vegetable holder is designed. I am a long-time user of a mandolin, so I know what I'm doing. I kept this product beyond the Amazon return window of 30 days. I watched videos and kept trying but now I am giving up and want my money back. I understand Amazon's refusal to refund I know I am beyon 30 days. The issue that really bothers me is that on the product description there is the following statement: "WELTONHM Customer Service】We WELTONHM strive to make our customers' cooking life easier, better, and more enjoyable in all that we do. If you are unhappy with your mandolin food slicer for any reason, we will replace or refund your order. Also, please reach out, we would like to help you with any questions about our veggie slicer." I have tried in vain to find Customer Service for this Weltonhm. No such luck on the internet. I finally contacted Amazon and received an email for this company. What a hassle for a useless product. They seem to be a large company with lots of cooking products on Amazon but they don't support their Customer Service Statement. Very disappointed. Will never buy a product from Weltonhm.

This thing cuts. The blades are genuinely sharp, and slices come out even and clean instead of ragged the way they do on a dull slicer. The adjustable thickness works as advertised. Fair warning, though: treat it like a knife, not like a kitchen gadget. It's sharp enough that you can catch yourself if you get careless, both while slicing and while washing it. Use the hand guard even when you think you don't need it, and be deliberate when you clean the blade — don't go reaching into soapy water for it. None of that is a complaint. A mandoline that isn't sharp is useless. Just know what you're getting and it'll do great work.

I love the stainless steel virsus the plastic that holds germs. This item is very convenient

The super slicer seems to be excellent but I didn't get the free gloves.. although it doesn't matter much but if you promise something free then give it.. yet to use the product (I'll use it today) but I can tell by just looking at it that its an awesome mandoline slicer..

The quality is very good and blades sharp and easy to select.. it is a bonus that they come with cut resistant gloves
