My son has Aspergers and is over the Top about Thomas the tank. Now that he is 15 , we have been looking to get him to put away his child toys and go for more adult style . So a model train Thomas is a great compromise, it fits with his grandfather’s model trains ... new & old together .And it broke Christmas 🎅 Day , I couldn’t remember where I purchased it , so my son has asked every day for a replacement - now I will see about getting it replaced . Stay tuned - hope this works quickly - poor kid .

Not the quality I was expecting from Lionel or for the price paid. The engine arrived broken out of the box. When I unboxed the train and took it out the motor assembly was halfway falling out and screws fell out. Also the train only came with one of the rubber rings on the wheel. Not a huge deal as I can add the other myself, but I expect a brand new item to come completely ready to run. Will be contacting Lionel for a replacement.

I recieved Diesel poorly constructed. The wheels that connect with the third rail fell off as soon as I took the engine out of the box. A pin was missing and nothing was holding the axle with these wheels securely. From what I understand, another customer recieved an engine in the exact same condition.

This little engine has the strength to pull a good number of cars on your layout. He looks and sounds great. The motor is a little on the noisy side and the buffers break off easily s be careful with small children.

This was a complete piece of junk. I have spent so much money on Thomas and Friends for my child and you made this cheap piece? Wise up!!
