I must have fat hands or something
After reading the reviews I was excited to give these a try. Honestly I didn’t think I had fat hands until trying to get one of these on. Once I succeed in stuffing the sausage (my hand) into the casing (the wrist support) I began to experience a slight suffocating sensation that, while uncomfortable, was bearable for a time. Then the sweating began (or, according to my mother the “glistening”). I ignore it right up until I couldn’t. Then in my panic I discovered that removing a damp wrist support from my fat hand was even more difficult than getting it on, I was at the point of deciding to cut off the entire hand when it came off with the sound of a suction cup releasing. Finally free of the torture device I was horrified to see the skin of my hand had wrinkled as if submerged in water for two days. Suffice it to say I will not be using the remaining wrist supports. Though on a positive note the wrist supports seem to be extremely well made, in the struggle to put them on then take them back off they didn’t tear at all, so good job there!I broke down and ordered the copperfit gloves instead.

dangerous magnets
Great range of motion, comfort and weight - BUT - I was taking it off - and a magnet flew out. The magnets are TINY. I feel very lucky I found the magnet before my dog or cat found it. Magnets are very dangerous if ingested. Not sure if it's the magnets or the silicone support that makes my tenosynovitis feel better - but I'm going to remove the magnets and figure that out. I do not want to risk my pets' health.

Good product to wear at work
I really like this product for wear during the day, especially at work where I'm on the computer all day. I don't have to take it off when I go to the bathroom, you can wash your hands with it on and even though it's meant for a tight fit; the item doesn't feel tight on your hand. By 5pm though, I am ready to take it off only because it does get a little moist on your skin and I need my skin to breath. I sleep with a brace at night that has the metal thumb splint, but it's impossible to wear that brace during the day and use your hand; I really like this brace for all day wear. Plus it's skin colored, so it's not noticeable.

Good support for that thumb joint, fits wrist comfortably
These came in a package of four. I have arthritis and swelling in the thumbs where they attach to the hand. The first one split within an hour, but the second one has been good for a couple of days. They have four bb size magnets embedded in the rubber, two inside the hand, and two on the outside. I'm not sure if they help, they are easy to pop out if they are in an uncomfortable place, as one puts sharp pressure on the tender outside of my joint. No problem, because I removed it. I am allergic to latex, and these appear to be free of latex. I've only used them on my right hand so far, because I'm taking classes and take copious notes by hand. My hands are medium ladies hands. I find them comfortable, and will purchase them again.

Thumb seam years quickly
They gave complete relief for my thumb arthritis pain for several hours and then they tear along the thumb seam becoming useless.

Insufficient support
My husband suffers from severe carpal tunnel in both hands and had needed support that he could wear and still work while awaiting surgery. He's a mechanic and the velcro/padded braces don't mix well with his work.I will say that his hands are very large, and that could be part of the issue on why these did not work well. He liked the fact that they were so thin but yet did not tear, that is a huge bonus. But they were so restrictive, (again possibly due to his hand size) that after a few hours of wear, his hands cramped almost as much as they do without any support. They came highly recommended by two different ladies we knew who wear them, and if there were more than just a one size fits all option, he might have been happier with the results.

Does seem to help, durable for the type of material,
Pros: Seems to help reduce pain, but not sure it's really the magnets, suspect it's more that it limits somewhat range of motion. Durable for the type of material that it's made of. It is waterproof and only let some water inside the edges when my hands were actually submersed in water. Has been fairly comfortable for me to wear for several hours at a time.. however I have small hands and I can't imagine anyone with large hands being comfortable for very long, although it does seem to stretch pretty well. I think it's a good value for the cost.Cons: You have to be really careful not to put any strain on it on the thumb section that faces in to your fingers (the smallest width section) especially when putting it on and taking if off as it will split there easily. That said, you have to realize these are not designed to last forever, but to be treated as useful for multiple times.
