My husband takes his coffee black and he took the first sip, "Wow! Guatemalan is the way to go". And I have to agree! This stuff is absolutely delicious. We used one scoop to one cup of water. It's strong and smooth and sweet and incredibly flavorful. I usually take my coffee with a smidgen of milk, I'm drinking it as I'm writing this, and again, I can't get over how velvety smooth this is *takes another sip* Mmmmm, lovely, I swear I can taste blackberries, and I can definitely smell black currents. it's a little smokey, I'm not detecting any kind of bitter profile at all.On rare occasions, when we treat ourselves to a fancy night out, for desert I like to finish with an espresso and a scoop of rich vanilla ice-cream, pour a spoonful of coffee over it and scoop it up , and this coffee is screaming for me to do just that.I'll try my next cup black as milk does alter the taste profile.I cannot recommend this coffee enough to all my fellow coffee lovers. We are always on the lookout for new and different coffees to try. When we came across this Peak Performance organic dark roast, we had to try it.The real coffee flavor comes through with flying colors, nice and robust! You know you are drinking coffee, so if you don't like the flavor of straight coffee, may not be for you. But will come through creamer if that's the way you take it. Straight black is a nice wakeup!Being organic gives a peace of mind, knowing it's free of pesticides, while giving you just straight coffee.For what you're getting, organic, fair trade, the amount of coffee, at the price, it's a pretty fair deal. Cannot ask for much more, good coffee, good price, good stuff!

Hands-down the best tasting coffee I have had in years. It is a little more expensive but definitely worth it to give yourself a little treat. Additionally, the quality is far above common brands. I did some research several years ago about mold in coffee beans. This company seems to have tackled all those issues to be mold free.

I did not like the taste. I will admit I did not intend to pick the dark roast. But even with coconut milk this coffee is unpleasant for me. I like medium roasts and Colombian coffee. I wanted to try it for because of my long term and problematic mold allergy.I honestly wanted to enjoy the product but was disappointed.

This coffee is fair trade organic and high quality. However, it is priced 100% higher than other organic brands I have found. I ordered Happy Belly coffee, until it became unavailable, in the same size for a lot less money. Look around. Until their price comes down, I won’t be ordering this coffee from the current seller in the future.

I am not much of a coffee drinker. Most coffee makes me way to hyper and jittery especially at work. However I had wanted to try the Bulletproof style of coffee and did some research on the best ingredients.Having purchased this Peak performance coffee, I have to say that it is not like other coffee I have consumed. I don't get the jitters, its very rich and tasty and I don't crash late in the afternoon. It smells awesome and I have to say its probably the best coffee I have ever consumed.

I’ve purchased products from this company before and very impressed with the quality so I decided to try their organic coffee. What a fantastic coffee! I bought the dark roast and it’s very smooth and not too bitter and acidic like most coffee out there. I love the fact that it’s organic and free of harmful toxin and pesticides. Definitely a happy customer and will re-purchase!

One of the best tasting coffees I've tried hands down! I am not a huge coffee fan in general so was resistant at first but a friend highly recommended this. Needless to say, I have no regrets at all. The dark roast is so rich in aroma and flavor and it gave me the perfect kick without a crash later on. It’s just what I need to start my hectic days. I was hesitant to order off the internet but the bag it came in kept the beans fresh so I will definitely be ordering this again..
