An audiophile best buy.
In the world of audio and diminishing returns this cable is a best buy. I have two systems. One is tube based and the other is solid state. Both systems wired with Siltech Anniversary Classic. On the tube based system it sounds almost as good (90%) as a pair of $2000 dollar interconnect. In the solid state system it's still very good but the Siltech is clearly better in all regards. So system synergy plays a large part overall. I did notice a slight drop in system volume when using the Tuneful Interconnect and the Tuneful speaker cable in place of a complete set of Siltech. Perhaps the Tuneful cable is higher in resistance. Anyway I would suggest you owe it to yourself to audition this Wonderful Cable. If the synergy is right you will get full, warm inviting sound with fantastic body and imaging. Soundstage overall is smaller and less layering is heard but so what....The Tuneful interconnect is every bit as musical as my crazy expensive cables.

Amazing imaging and mid to highs
These cables really surprised me, the imaging is so tack sharp! But where did all the bass go? I run them in bi-wire configuration and use a different cable for lows, probably the only way I could use these, unfortunately.

Very nice, minimalist cables with good sonic qualities
The Tuneful Cables Belden 9497 Audiophile Speaker Cables are a great alternative to the thicker audiophile level cables that I have been using for years. I am using them with my PreSonus Eris E3.5 studio monitors with an Eris Sub8, so nothing super high end but a nice set to test with due to the accurate sound and excellent frequency balance and response.I really like the look of these cables, something different then the same old boring speaker cables. If the cables are going to be visible, they will noticeable, there is no blending in with these cables. They are much thinner than the cables I am used to using, which is another plus, which also means they are lighter than the usual cable. The color choice may not be appealing to everyone, but I like it!Sound quality is very good (as best my 50-year-old ears can discern) and as far as I can tell, the same as when using a pair of cables that cost several times more than the Tuneful cables. You get the same sonic qualities as thicker, more expensive audiophile speaker cables, they are thinner and lighter, and they bring a splash of color to your set up. That is a win in my book. I can recommend the Tuneful Cables Belden 9497 Audiophile Speaker Cables!

Nice budget speaker wire with good plugs
When going down the rabbit hole of economical speaker cables you'll see quite a bit of recommendations for belden 9497 cables. Based on this I decided to upgrade my cable matters 14 gauge speaker wires for these. I'm running a Pioneer PL-71 turntable, Proton Integrated Amp, and EPI 200's. The banana plugs on the belden's fit more snuggly then the gold plated banana plugs they replaced. It took some more effort to push these into both the speakers and amp. I'm guessing they also make better contact because of this. The cables themselves feel much stiffer then the 14 gauge cables, probably due to copper wires being tinned.Sound wise these produced a noticeably more open soundstage and less harsh highs. The mids sounded even clearer then before. I didn't notice any differences on the low end. I'm not sure if these cables added/subtracted anything or if they just removed colorations that my other cables added. These are nice cables. I'd recommend them to anybody with a decent to higher end audio system.

Not giant killers but OK cables
Many of us, me included, are looking for the proverbial giant killers among audio related gear. I had hopes that these thin, braided Belden 9497 would leave me blankly staring at my speakers with my jaw dropped and eyes widened in amazment. No such magic. They sound, well, like speaker cables. If anything, the sound seems a bit congested at the high and low ends, but clear in the middle. I can live with these cables in a secondary stereo set up. Some say this type of cable works best with vintage audio gear, but I have yet to read an understandable account of why that might be.As far as value, this is not expensive cable, and you can easily buy a run of it, terminate it, and try it out if interested in experimenting. Tuneful assembles a nice looking cable with decent plugs, so if you are curious and want to just plug and play, try a set. Maybe the magic I could not summon will appear for you.

Great speaker cables!
These are great simple speaker cables that are easy to use and get the job done. The cables are well-constructed and the contact pins are very solid. The cables are what I'd call low profile and are designed for smaller - bedroom, apartment - sound systems. For my application, the pins worked great at the speaker end, but I had to cut the pins at the receiver end to make the wires fit in the connectors. As for sound quality, the sounded pretty good and I couldn't pick out anything negative. Good product and highly recommended.
