Nutricost Lithium Orotate 5mg, 120 Capsules, Veggie Caps, Gluten Free

This stuff works good. It takes the edge off of daily stresses, and keeps me from being grouchy. Which runs in the family. I have found 2 a day works pretty good for me. At only 2 tho, it doesn't do very good as an antidepressant. But it does keep me calm. I got it up to 4 capsules per day recently and didn't like some of the side effects. 4 a day made me have to Pee every 5 minutes, day, and night. Which was very frustrating. Plus, I could not sleep, no matter what time of day or night I took it. It also made my nose swell shut, so I had to use nose spray at night, and again in the morning. Everyday. So, I've backed it back down to 2 every morning. I guess we'll see if I can keep taking it, or if I have to get an Rx from my Dr for something else, but I've been taking this for about 4 months now, and so far so good, as long as I only take 2 (10 mg).

My Primary recommended this supplement and to another 70 of his patients. Got it on Amazon Prime but Primary said only order from Nutricost b/c they are the only company that produces in USA certified plants with the correct % of ingredients. Delays dementia but is amazing for short & long term memory!

I started taking this product at their recommendation of my son since I have sleep issues. I have used a prescription sleeping pill for over 20 years. Since taking this lithium product, I have been able to stop taking the prescription. And I still get my needed sleep. I take one at night at about 9PM which is about two hours before I go to bed. I strongly recommend this for sleep. My son uses it for mood balancing.

I’ve been happy with this supplement so far. The capsules are easy to swallow, and the bottle lasts a long time. Everything arrived well packaged, and the quality seems excellent. I appreciate that it’s straightforward with no unnecessary ingredients. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

You should know that it’s well packaged and it’s a white capsule. As expected, I don’t feel anything. I’m trusting in what I read. That’s why it’s a four instead of a five because I really don’t know anything.

Good supplement.

Not sure what to expect as it's only been a couple of weeks but I think I am noticing a slight improvement in mental clarity. From my understanding I should give it least a year or longer to have full effect. Time and patience will tell.

There are some interesting studies showing that people who live in areas where the ground naturally has more lithium, so more lithium in the drinking water, have a decreased incidence of dementia. There is currently research into this to determine whether supplements can decrease the risk of dementia. This is a safe low-dose of lithium, not the dose that is taken by prescription. Do not take more more than the one capsule a day, or take any if you have kidney disease, without discussing with your physician.
