does this fade bruises faster than regular arnica gel?

This is the first Arnica Gel product I tried, based on an (non-advertisement) article I read in a women's beauty magazine. It works fast and it works thoroughly, with very little effort. While i do feel a very tolerable warming sensation on my sensitive skin, it is far from anything close to 'burning'. Maybe others applied it to an open wound?? That's not what it's for. I'm not sure what you mean by 'regular arnica gel'. the only other product I tried was Boiron Arnica Gel, which worked, but not near as well and quickly. I hope this helps.

Can this be used on bruising/swelling of lips?

I use it for clearing up/diminishing bruises (I have very sensitive skin). I can't attest to the effects on lips (as in bruised or swollen lips?) though. Sorry about that.

Why does it burn so bad ?

As a repeat user of the MIRACLE PLUS GEL, and as someone who has fair, very sensitive skin, I can only attest that FOR ME, the product has worked miraculously and with NO BURNING or darkening of the skin. Yes it has a brief warming sensation, but nothing intolerable. I believe the heat aides in the absorption of the arnica flower, and likely instantly starts dissipating the bruises. Good luck.

Would you recommend the cream or the gel for post surgical swelling in the knuckles?

I had surgery to remove cancerous tissue and have found this Miracle Plus Arnica Bruise Cream helpful to reduce my swelling. Hopefully you will also find it helpful, but I presume that everyone is different. This cream was my preference out of all the creams. Dan
